Enzymatic Treatment of Polyamide Fiber by Alcalase [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Korean Society of Clothing and Textiles, 2011
An enzymatic treatment method using alcalase was introduced to improve the moisture characteristic of the polyamide fiber. The alcalase treatment conditions such as the pH, treatment temperature, enzyme concentration, and treatment time were optimized by measuring the amino groups.

Antioxidant, angiotensin-converting enzyme, and α-amylase inhibitory activities of protein hydrolysates of Leucaena leucocephala seeds

open access: yesCyTA - Journal of Food, 2021
The Leucaena leucocephala seeds (LLS) cotyledon proteins, globulins, and glutelins were independently hydrolyzed by Alcalase, Trypsin, and α-Chymotrypsin up to 180 min.

Reduction in antigenesity of whey protein by alcalase [PDF]

open access: yesKorean Journal of Agricultural Science, 2013
The aim of this study was to produce enzymatic hydrolysis of α-LA, β-LG and BSA with alcalase for the possible application of hypoallergenic foods toward cow’s milk allergenic infant. The molecular weights of most of the peptides in hydrolysates from α-LA, β-LG and BSA by alcalase were below 3,000 dalton. Antigenesity of α-LA, β-LG and BSA hydrolysates

Whey proteins hydrolysis using Alcalase and Flavourzyme

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science, 2022
Abstract One of the ways to solve the problem of whey utilization is to obtain enzymatic hydrolysates with bioactive properties and reduced antigenicity. A wide range of enzyme preparations are used for whey hydrolysis. The aim of the study was to select the conditions for enzymatic processing of whey protein concentrate to provide the ...
