ABSTRACT This study assesses the kinetics of Tandemol lubricant degradation by Pseudomonas synaxantha rhizo‐25 after UV treatment and nanoparticle inclusion. The degradation efficiency was assessed in terms of the Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH) and aromatic compounds degraded in a liquid medium containing Tandemol lubricant.

Genomic, proteomic and phylogenetic analyses of the obligate yeast‐like symbiont (YLS) associated with Scaphoideus titanus revealed retained metabolic flexibility and a monophyletic origin of insect‐associated YLSs within a free‐living fungal lineage. A novel computational pipeline was used to mine NCBI transcriptomic data and identified new candidate ...

ABSTRACT Plant proteins provide nutritional value and techno‐functional performance, yet their predominantly globular structures often form isotropic gels that lack the fibrous, anisotropic, and water‐retaining network of animal muscle. This review examines plant‐protein meat analogue design as a multi‐objective challenge requiring the simultaneous ...

N‐Linked glycosylation is evidently an important factor for the successful heterologous expression of unspecific peroxygenases (UPOs) in Saccharomyces cerevisiae, as demonstrated using a short UPO from Marasmius rotula. By increasing the probability of glycosylation within a sequon, the yield of extracellular UPO can be substantially increased ...
