Dysregulated protein modifications drive tumorigenesis. RINES, an E3 ubiquitin ligase, represses tumor cell proliferation and metastasis by facilitating RING domain‐dependent, ubiquitin–proteasome‐mediated degradation of STAT3 and MYC, which consequently restrains cancer stemness and oncogenic progression.

CircZNF148 stabilizes HK1 through deubiquitinase recruitment, thereby enhancing glycolysis and lactate production. Elevated lactate promotes PD‑L1 lactylation and membrane accumulation while suppressing CD8+ T‐cell cytotoxicity, collectively facilitating immune evasion and malignant progression in TNBC.

A retrospective review of the prognostic value of ALDH-1, Bmi-1 and Nanog stem cell markers in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. [PDF]
Stem cell markers are upregulated in various cancers and have potential as prognostic indicators. The objective of this study was to determine the expression of three stem cell markers, aldehyde dehydrogenase 1 (ALDH-1), B cell-specific Moloney murine ...

Emerging Roles of Aldehyde Dehydrogenase Isoforms in Anti-cancer Therapy Resistance
Aldehyde dehydrogenases (ALDHs) are a family of detoxifying enzymes often upregulated in cancer cells and associated with therapeutic resistance. In humans, the ALDH family comprises 19 isoenzymes active in the majority of mammalian tissues.

CAF‐derived exosomes deliver circFAD104 into TNBC cells, where it acts as a molecular scaffold that bridges the E3 ligase MARCHF8 and PGM1, promoting MARCHF8‐mediated K48‐linked ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation of PGM1. Loss of PGM1 redirects glucose‐phosphate flux from glycogen synthesis toward glycolysis, thereby driving stemness, EMT, and ...

ALDH expression characterizes G1-phase proliferating beta cells during pregnancy.
High levels of aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH) activity have been detected in various progenitor and stem cells. Thus, Aldefluor fluorescence, which represents precisely the ALDH activity, has been widely used for the identification, evaluation, and ...

Development of a Novel Multi-Isoform ALDH Inhibitor Effective as an Antimelanoma Agent
The aldehyde dehydrogenases (ALDH) are a major family of detoxifying enzymes that contribute to cancer progression and therapy resistance. ALDH overexpression is associated with a poor prognosis in many cancer types.

Self‐Propelled HPB@Lip@AB Nanomotors Ameliorate Dry Eye Disease
A self‐propelled HPB@Lip@AB nanomotor system is developed for dry eye disease (DED) therapy, facilitating rapid penetration across ocular surface barriers while integrating hydrogen therapy with multi‐enzyme‐like antioxidant activity. The nanoplatform restores mitochondrial function, suppresses oxidative stress, inflammation, and apoptosis, and ...
