WTAP‐Mediated m6A Modification of TXNDC5 mRNA Promotes Cervical Carcinogenesis

open access: yesThe Kaohsiung Journal of Medical Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT WT1‐associated protein (WTAP), a core component of the methyltransferase complex, is involved in various tumor pathological processes, but its specific mechanism in cervical cancer (CC) remains unclear. This study, based on single‐cell transcriptomic data (including 3 CC and 2 normal tissues), constructed a CC microenvironment cell atlas ...

KMT5C‐Mediated H4K20me3 Recruits EWSR1 to Propel Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma Progression via Regulating ACADM Transcription and m6A Modification

open access: yesMed Research, EarlyView.
A schematic diagram illustrating the KMT5C‐H4K20me3‐EWSR1‐ACADM signaling axis and its role in ccRCC progression. Key Outcomes: KMT5C/H4K20me3 are upregulated in ccRCC and predict poor prognosis. EWSR1 is a novel noncanonical H4K20me3 reader in ccRCC. KMT5C/EWSR1 co‐repress ACADM via transcription and m6A modification. A‐196 + sunitinib synergistically

ALKBH5 promotes ovarian cancer progression by activating Notch2 signaling

open access: yesBiological Procedures Online
Background ALKBH5, one of the RNA N6-methyladenosine (m6A) demethyltransferases, has been suggested to be involved in the progression of several cancers. The aim of this study was to investigate clinical significance and biological functions of ALKBH5 in

m6A‐Related Regulation of Ferroptosis Contributes to Nasal Epithelial Barrier Dysfunction in Allergic Rhinitis

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
This study uses human nasal epithelial cells and BALB/c mice to evaluate the role and molecular mechanism of ferroptosis in HDM‐induced AR, focusing on ferroptosis‐related responses and nasal epithelial barrier disruption. HDM exposure induces lipid peroxidation‐driven ferroptosis and epithelial barrier disruption.

DHX15 affects AML1‐ETO9a splicing together with HNRNPL, RBM33 in AML1‐ETO‐positive acute myeloid leukaemia

open access: yesBritish Journal of Haematology, EarlyView.
Moderate DHX15, HNRNPL and RBM33 expression drives predominant AML1‐ETO mRNA production, while elevated expression of them promotes generating more AE9a mRNA (Aspartic acid ‐ Glutamic acid ‐ Alanine ‐ Aspartic acid sequence)(messenger ribonucleic acid).

Decreased ALKBH5 in neutrophil correlates with disease activity in rheumatoid arthritis and ALKBH5 modulates neutrophil autophagy

open access: yesScientific Reports
Neutrophils are key immune components in rheumatoid arthritis (RA), but the role of ALKBH5 in neutrophil function and RA progression remains unclear.

Long non‐coding RNAs at the crossroads of inflammation, cancer and angiogenesis: Molecular mechanisms and their potential as therapeutic targets

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Long non‐coding RNAs (lncRNAs), a broad class of non‐protein‐coding RNAs, are characterized as new regulators of gene expression at the epigenetic, transcriptional, and post‐transcriptional level. Thus, lncRNAs are involved in the regulation of physiological processes and the development of human diseases and cancer by modulating proinflammatory ...

Tumor‐Derived Exosomal piR‐hsa‐28212 Promotes Lymphatic Metastasis in Breast Cancer

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
Breast cancer–derived exosomal piR‐hsa‐28212 promotes lymphangiogenesis and lymph node metastasis by activating VEGFC/VEGFR3 signaling. It stabilizes TBX1 mRNA in lymphatic endothelial cells and METTL3 protein in tumor cells, enhancing VEGFR3 expression and VEGFC secretion.

ALKBH5 regulates intrauterine adhesion progression through m6A dependent FABP4 mRNA stabilization and serum lipid metabolism

open access: yesCommunications Biology
Endometrial fibrosis is the main feature of intrauterine adhesion (IUA). The m6A methylation is involved in the process of fibrosis. However, the regulatory pathways involved in m6A methylation in endometrial fibrosis remain unclear.
