A New Binding Model for Structurally Diverse ALS Inhibitors

Pest Management Science, 1996
Acetolactate synthase (ALS) has been a very attractive target for herbicides for the last decade. There are several ALS inhibitors in commercial use spanning the world-wide market. In this study, the common structural features within a subset of ALS inhibitors were investigated by molecular graphics and quantum chemical calculations.

Physiological consequences of mutation for ALS-inhibitor resistance

Weed Science, 1999
Biochemical and physiological effects of target site resistance to herbicides inhibiting acetolactate synthase (ALS) were evaluated using sulfonylurea-resistant (R) and -susceptible (S) near isonuclearLactuca sativa‘Bibb’ lines derived by backcrossing the resistance allele fromLactuca serriolaL. intoL.

Common lambsquarters response to the ALS inhibitor herbicides

Research on Crops, 2019
Common lambsquarters (Chenopodium album) is a worldwide weed species growing in cropping system. Two trials were performed between 2015 and 2016 to evaluate applications of ALS inhibitor herbicides for common lambsquarters control and crop safety in spring wheat.

Natriumbenzoat als Korrosions‐Inhibitor in wäßrigen Dispersionen

Materials and Corrosion, 1957

Effects of two new aldose reductase inhibitors, AL-1567 and AL-1576, in diabetic rats

Metabolism, 1987
Two new potent aldose reductase inhibitors, AL-1567 (DL-spiro(2-fluoro-9H-fluoren-9,4'-imidazolidine)-2',5'-dione) and AL-1576 (spiro-(2,7-difluoro-9H-fluoren-9,4'-imidazolidine)2',5'-dione), have been characterized with respect to in vitro activity toward rat lens and human placental aldose reductase and in vivo activity in uncontrolled, severely ...

Targeting FUS-ALS aggregation with Proteasome Inhibitors

Summary ALS, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a devastating neurodegenerative disease (ND) with no cure, is often caused by abnormal cytosolic aggregation of RNA-binding proteins, the most well-known of which are TDP-43 and FUS. The proteasome is considered one of the major systems that degrades misfolded, including ND-associated ...

Basis of ACCase and ALS inhibitor resistance in Hordeum glaucum Steud

Pest Management Science, 2017
AbstractBACKGROUNDAcetyl coenzyme‐A carboxylase (ACCase) and/or acetolactate synthase (ALS) inhibitor resistance has been identified by herbicide resistance screening in eight populations obtained from cropping regions of South Australia. This study aimed to quantify the level of resistance and characterise the molecular basis of resistance to ACCase ...

Hesperidinphosphat als Hyaluronidaseinhibitor

Klinische Wochenschrift, 1954
