Longer Asthma Duration Is Associated With Elevated Non‐T2 Sputum Biomarkers and Reduced T2 Inflammation in Severe Asthma

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
Longer asthma duration is associated with increased airway non‐T2 inflammation and reduced airway and systemic T2 inflammation. Sputum CXCL9 is independently associated with duration and may predict a reduced poor response to anti‐IL‐4Rα therapy. Airway sampling and combined T2 and non‐T2 targeted strategies may be needed in long‐standing asthma. CXCL9,

Advances in 4D Representation: Geometry, Motion, and Interaction

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
We survey 4D representation through three key pillars — geometry, motion, and interaction — offering a selective, representation‐centric perspective to guide researchers in choosing and customizing the right 4D representation for their tasks. Abstract We present a survey on 4D generation and reconstruction, a fast‐evolving subfield of computer graphics

Attractiveness of Melon Genotypes to Whitefly (Bemisia tabaci) Mediated by Foliar Morphological and Biochemical Traits

open access: yesEntomologia Experimentalis et Applicata, EarlyView.
This study identifies melon genotypes resistant to Bemisia tabaci by integrating morphological and biochemical leaf traits. Using free‐choice and no‐choice assays, we demonstrate that resistance is primarily mediated by antixenosis. Genotypes CNPH 11‐1071‐43, CNPH 06‐1047‐343, CNPH 13‐1076, and BG MEL 16 significantly reduced whitefly settling and ...

Illuminating the pathological, immunohistochemical, and molecular investigations of myelocytomatosis in chicken embryos

open access: yesInfectious Agents and Cancer
Avian leukosis virus Subgroup-J (ALV-J) is an avian retrovirus affecting a wide range of avian species, and has posed a great threat to the local poultry with significant losses. In Egypt, ALV-J has been actively monitored in various breeder flocks. This

Synergy of Subgroup J Avian Leukosis Virus and Chicken Infectious Anemia Virus Enhances the Pathogenicity in Chickens

open access: yesMicroorganisms
Subgroup J avian leukemia virus (ALV-J) and chicken infectious anemia virus (CIAV) are widely acknowledged as significant immunosuppressive pathogens that commonly co-infect chickens, causing substantial economic losses in the poultry industry.

Iloperidone treatment mitigates the Juvenile Huntington's Disease phenotype possibly via Sigma‐1 Receptor Modulation

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
We investigated the potential of iloperidone as an activator of Sigma‐1 receptor (S1R) neuroprotective function in juvenile Huntington's disease (jHD). We tested iloperidone on cortical neurons differentiated from patient‐derived iPSCs, demonstrating that it acts as a S1R agonist, decreasing apoptosis, huntingtin aggregation, and oxidative stress ...

IL‐33/ST2 Signaling Sustains Hepato‐Intestinal Homeostasis by Orchestrating Vascular Surveillance and Immune Regulatory Circuits During Experimental Trypanosoma cruzi Infection

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, Volume 40, Issue 13, 15 July 2026.
Impairment of hepato‐intestinal homeostasis triggered by ST2 deficiency during T. cruzi infection. Within the splenic compartment, immune dysregulation is marked by a robust pro‐inflammatory polarization of the T‐cell landscape. In the liver, ST2 deficiency is associated with hepatocellular injury, increased parasite burden, and hyperalbuminemia ...

Using ScRNA-seq to Reveal Lymphocyte Responses to ALV-J in Bone Marrow Microenvironment

open access: yes, 2023
Abstract Background: The main tumors in chicken caused by avian leukemia virus (ALV) are leukemia. The bone marrow microenvironment is the genesis of leukemia, but little is known about the state of the chicken bone marrow microenvironment under avian leukemia virus subgroup J (ALV-J) infection.

Comparison of Rule‐Based Algorithms to Identify Patients With Idiopathic Inflammatory Myopathies in Electronic Health Records

open access: yesACR Open Rheumatology, Volume 8, Issue 7, July 2026.
Objective Studying rare diseases requires assembling robust, correctly classified cohorts. We compared the performance of seven published International Classification of Diseases, Ninth Revision (ICD‐9) and International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems, Tenth Revision (ICD‐10) code rule‐based algorithms in the ...
