CCL18 promotes the metastasis of squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck through MTDH‐NF‐κB signalling pathway

open access: yesJournal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Volume 23, Issue 4, Page 2689-2701, April 2019., 2019
Abstract Metastasis is one of the primary causes for high mortality in patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN). Our previous study showed that chemokine (C‐C motif) ligand 18 (CCL18), derived from tumour‐associated macrophages (TAMs), regulates SCCHN metastasis by promoting epithelial‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) and ...

A Common Variant of ASAP1 Is Associated with Tuberculosis Susceptibility in the Han Chinese Population

open access: yesDisease Markers, Volume 2019, Issue 1, 2019., 2019
Background. ASAP1 (also known as AMAP1 or DDEF1) encodes an Arf GTPase‐activating protein (Arf GAP), a multifunctional scaffold protein that induces hydrolysis of GTP bound to the ADP‐ribosylation factor (Arf) family GTP‐binding proteins. Reduction of ASAP1 expression in vitro was related to suppression of cell migration and invasiveness.

The t-test for the rapidity of local recurrence of subgroups of GEP100 and AMAP1.

open access: yes, 2013
Mean and 95% confidence intervals of the natural logarism of months from completion of radiotherapy to the local recurrence for subgroups of GEP100 and AMAP1 expressions. Samples strongly positive for both GEP100 and AMAP1 (Homo group) show shorter times

Lysophosphatidic acid activates Arf6 to promote the mesenchymal malignancy of renal cancer [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Acquisition of mesenchymal properties by cancer cells is critical for their malignant behaviour, but regulators of the mesenchymal molecular machinery and how it is activated remain elusive.

Trip purpose prediction using travel survey data with POI information via gradient boosting decision trees

open access: yesIET Intelligent Transport Systems, Volume 18, Issue 2, Page 269-289, February 2024.
This study explores the trip purpose prediction problem using 2016 Household Travel Survey (HTS) data and POI data in Chengdu, China. Abstract At present, data obtained from the Global Positioning System (GPS) is significantly valuable in mobility research. However, GPS‐based data lacks include trip purpose information.

Study on the negative regulators of IKKβ/NF-κB focusing on the link between inflammation and cancer [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
京都工芸繊維大学博士(学術)NF-kB is a major transcriptional factor regulating many cellular functions including inflammation; and its role is a pivotal link between inflammation an cancer. Therefore, its appropriate control is of high importance.

Kaplan-Meier curves for the time to event of subgroups of AMAP1 and GEP100.

open access: yes, 2013
Homo group (GEP100 (2+) /AMAP1 (2+)) shows a shorter time to local relapse after the completion of BCT than the Others, with a p value of 0.0001. Months: The time from completion of radiotherapy to recurrence.

EMTとがん悪性度:何が根本的事象なのか。 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Despite global intellectual efforts that have continued for over half a century, cancer is still an incurable disease. There are two main reasons for this difficulty; treatment resistance and metastatic recurrence.

LOX-PP reduces CIN85 mono-ubiquitination and ability to interact with c-Cbl.

open access: yes, 2013
(A) GST or LOX-PP-GST (PP-GST) was expressed in ZR-75 (left panel) or Hs578T (right panel) cells. GST and associated proteins were precipitated as described in Fig.
