A metal-dependent aminopeptidase (EC 3.4.11.-), designated APase Y, has been purified to homogeneity by conventional methods. The enzyme is composed of a single polypeptide chain with molecular mass of 102 kilodaltons, estimated by sodium dodecyl sulphate – polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, with a blocked N-terminal amino acid.

Aminopeptidase A in human placenta
Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - Enzymology, 1981Abstract Aminopeptidase A ( l -α-aspartyl( l -α-glutamyl)-peptide hydrolase, EC 3.4.11.7) was found in human placenta, partially purified from it and briefly characterized in comparison with the placental leucine aminopeptidase. The aminopeptidase A could be separated from leucine aminopeptidase after trypsin digestion followed by Sephacryl S-300 ...

Aminopeptidase activity of Capnocytophaga
Journal of Periodontal Research, 1982Studies have shown that Capnocytophaga species are unique among the periodonlal microorganisms so far tested in that they produce marked leucine aminopeptidase, valine aminopeptidase, and cystine aminopeptidase activities. In this paper, we used the expanded API ZYMAP (API‐System, La Balme les Grottes, France) system to survey 18 Capnocytophaga strains

Aminopeptidase in Elastotic Skin
Archives of Dermatology, 1962Although peptidases have been found to be localized principally in the cellular, as opposed to the fibrous, elements of the skin, 1,2 the presence of an aminopeptidase in the fibrous dermal structure in elastotic skin has not been reported. An aminopeptidase can indeed be demonstrated in the elastotic skin by histochemical staining methods which ...
