Mitochondrial targeting sequences why ‘non‐amphiphilic’ peptides may still be amphiphilic [PDF]
The notion that mitochondrial targeting peptides form amphiphilic α‐helices with one apolar and one polar, positively charged face is controversial, since some experimental results seem to imply that non‐amphiphilic targeting peptides can also function as import signals.

Driving Forces for Adsorption of Amphiphilic Peptides to the Air-Water Interface
We have studied the partitioning of amphiphilic peptides at the air-water interface. The free energy of adsorption from bulk to interface was calculated by determining the potential of mean force via atomistic molecular dynamics simulations.

Culinary Chemistry as a Platform for Interfacial Materials Design
Culinary processes control interfaces through heating, shear, gelation, and molecular transport. This Review connects selected gastronomic examples with food‐derived nanomaterials, plasmonic sensing, anthocyanin photovoltaics, and intelligent packaging. Original agar‐based plasmonic films illustrate the proposed translation.
