This study introduces glutathione‐stabilized gold nanoparticles for targeted lithium delivery (LiG‐AuNPs), enabling the controlled modulation of Glycogen Synthase Kinase‐3 (GSK‐3β). These non‐toxic, 2‐nm particles release lithium intracellularly, effectively inhibiting GSK‐3β in the brain without significant plasma lithium alterations.

Loss of TREM2 function increases amyloid seeding but reduces plaque associated ApoE
Coding variants in the triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 2 (TREM2) are associated with late-onset Alzheimer’s disease (AD). We demonstrate that amyloid plaque seeding is increased in the absence of functional Trem2.

Hydrogel‐forming microneedle patches are developed using shape‐preserving PVA‐PVP hydrogels, with and without chitosan, for minimally invasive transdermal protein biomarker sampling. The optimised patches enable efficient interstitial fluid uptake and proteomic analysis, while minimising interference.

Serum amyloid A (SAA) proteins were isolated and named over 50 years ago. They are small (104 amino acids) and have a striking relationship to the acute phase response with serum levels rising as much as 1000-fold in 24 hours. SAA proteins are encoded in
