Sterol engineering enables precise control of mRNA lipid nanoparticles by tuning membrane organization. Replacing cholesterol with bile acid‐derived sterols redirects protein expression from the liver to the spleen. Notably, CA‐20 LNP enhances antigen‐specific immune responses while exhibiting a favorable safety profile, highlighting sterols as a ...

Demyelinating disease and anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor immunoglobulin G antibodies: a case report [PDF]
Background: Anti–N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor immunoglobulin G antibodies directed against the GluN1 subunit are considered highly specific for anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor encephalitis, a severe clinical syndrome characterized by seizures ...

Corramycin, a myxobacterial natural product antibiotic, exhibits potent bactericidal activity against multidrug‐resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The compound hijacks bacterial transporters such as BacA and OppABCD to enter the cell and inhibits DNA synthesis through a previously unrecognized mode of DNA gyrase poisoning, locking the enzyme in an ...

Anti‑N-Methyl-D-Aspartate-Receptor Encephalitis in Young Females
Anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor encephalitis is an immune-mediated disease commonly associated with ovarian teratoma. Anti-NMDA-receptor autoantibodies disrupt NMDA function leading to the development of psychosis, seizures and autonomic dysfunction. The treatment includes underlying tumour resection and immunosuppression.
