Three new flavones from the roots and stems of Tiandeng tobacco and their anti-TMV activities

Phytochemistry Letters, 2015
Abstract Three new flavone derivatives, paranicflavones A–C (1–3), together with three known similar compounds (4–6), were isolated from their roots and stems of Tiandeng tobacco. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods, including extensive 1H and 13C NMR techniques.

Two New Isoquinoline Alkaloids from Whole Plants of Thalictrum glandulosissimum and their Anti-TMV Activity

Chemistry of Natural Compounds, 2020
Two new isoquinoline alkaloids, 3-hydroxy-1-(7-hydroxy-6-methylisoquinolin-1-yl)propan-1-one (1) and 3-hydroxy-1-(7-methoxy-6-methylisoquinolin-1-yl)propan-1-one (2) were isolated from the whole plants of Thalictrum glandulosissimum. Their structures were determined by means of HR-ESI-MS and extensive 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic studies.

Anti‐TMV activity and mode of action of three alkaloids isolated from Chelidonium majus

Pest Management Science, 2020
AbstractBACKGROUNDPlant viral diseases are difficult to control and have caused serious damage to the agricultural industry. Recently, botanical biopesticides characterized by environment friendly, safe to non‐target organism and not as susceptible to produce drug resistance, have exhibited great potential to be developed as antiviral agents. To screen

Flavonol derivatives containing pyrazole oxime ether: design, synthesis, and anti-TMV activity

Molecular Diversity
A series of flavonol derivatives containing pyrazole oxime ether moieties were designed and synthesized. In vivo antiviral assays revealed that some compounds exhibited remarkable inhibitory effects against tobacco mosaic virus (TMV). Among them, Both the curative activity (EC50 = 88.9 μg/mL) and protective activity (EC50 = 107.5 μg/mL) of H13 were ...

Synthesis and anti-TMV activity of novel β-amino acid ester derivatives containing quinazoline and benzothiazole moieties

Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry Letters, 2014
Here, a series of β-amino acid ester derivatives containing quinazoline and benzothiazoles was synthesized and evaluated for anti-tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) activity. The compounds 3n, 3o, 3p and 3q showed good antiviral activity against TMV at a concentration of 500 μg/mL, with curative rates of 55.55%, 52.32%, 52.77% and 50.91%, respectively, and ...

[A new flavone from stems of Garcinia bracteata and its anti-TMV activity].

Zhongguo Zhong yao za zhi = Zhongguo zhongyao zazhi = China journal of Chinese materia medica, 2016
A phytochemical investigation on the stems of Garcinia bracteata collected from Xishuangbanna resulted in the isolation of a new flavone. By analysis of the HRESIMS, IR, UV, 1D and 2D NMR spectra, the structure of the new compound was determined as 7-methoxy-4',6-dihydroxy-8-isobutyryl-flavone(1).

Anti-TMV activity based flavonol derivatives containing piperazine sulfonyl: Design, synthesis and mechanism study

Molecular Diversity
A series of flavonoid derivatives containing piperazine sulfonate were designed and synthesized. The results of antiviral experiments in vivo showed that some target compounds had good inhibitory effect on tobacco mosaic virus (TMV). The EC50 values of S15 and S19 curative activity were 174.5 and 110.4 μg/mL, respectively, which were better than 253.7 ...

Anti-TMV Activity and Functional Mechanisms of Two Diterpenoid Alkaloids Isolated from Dendrobium findlayanum

Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry
Tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) is a major threat to crops, making the discovery of green biopesticides essential. Herein, we present two active ingredients derived from the medicinal plant Dendrobium findlayanum, findlayine A (1) and dendrofindline B (2), as promising precursor compounds for TMV inhibitors.

Design, Synthesis, Anti-TMV Activity, and Structure–Activity Relationships of Seco-pregnane C21 Steroids and Their Derivatives

Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry
seco-pregnane C21 steroids exhibit high antiviral activity against the tobacco mosaic virus (TMV). However, the structural modification of seco-pregnane C21 steroids and the structure-activity relationship (SAR) of the modified compounds remain unevaluated.
