Stemtuberolines A-G, new alkaloids from Stemona tuberosa and their anti-TMV activity

Fìtoterapìâ, 2020
Three new tuberostemoamide-type alkaloids, stemtuberolines A-C (1-3), four new stenine-type alkaloids, stemtuberolines D-G (4-7), together with five known Stemona alkaloids (8-12), were isolated from the roots of Stemona tuberosa. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of comprehensive spectroscopic data analysis.

Synthesis and anti-TMV activity of novel N-(pyrimidin-5-yl)-N′-phenylureas

Chinese Chemical Letters, 2011
Abstract In order to find novel leading structures of pesticide, a series of N-(pyrimidin-5-yl)-N′-phenylureas (4a–4h) were designed and synthesized from 4-chloro-2-diethylamino-6-methyl-5-nitropyrimidine 1 via substitution, reduction and acylation procedures. Preliminary bioassay showed that all the target compounds processing good anti-TMV (tobacco

Total synthesis of the proposed structure of Anti-TMV active tabasesquiterpene A

Tetrahedron, 2021
Abstract The proposed structure of Tabasesquiterpene A, an illudalane type of sesquiterpene has been synthesized in twelve steps from 2-methoxy-4-methylbenzaldehyde in 40% overall yield. Triflic acid mediated intramolecular Freidel-Crafts acylation allows to develop the critical indanone moiety, a key intermediate of this synthesis.

Anti-TMV activity and effects of three prieurianin-type limonoids from Munronia henryi

Pesticide Biochemistry and Physiology, 2022
Three prieurianin-type limonoids (1-3), including two new compounds (1 and 2) and one known compound (3) were isolated from Munronia henryi. These compounds were tested for their activities against tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) by the conventional half-leaf method and the outcomes were analyzed by western blotting and RT-PCR assays.

Synthesis and Structure–Activity Relationship Studies of Nicotlactone Analogues as Anti-TMV Agents

Synthesis, 2022
AbstractThe synthesis of the originally proposed structure of (±)-nicotlactone A, a potent antiviral lignan with three continuous chiral centers, is reported in 5 steps from methyl acrylate. The key steps of the synthesis included an In-catalyzed regioselective allylation and a Mn-catalyzed Mukaiyama hydration reaction.
