Antibody dependent cellular phagocytosis (ADCP) and antibody dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) of breast cancer cells mediated by bispecific antibody, MDX-210

Breast Cancer Research and Treatment, 1999
MDX-210 is a bispecific antibody (BsAb) with specificity for both the proto-oncogene product of HER-2/neu (c-erbB-2) and FcgammaRI (CD64). HER-2/neu is overexpressed in malignant tissue of approximately 30% of patients with breast cancer, and FcgammaRI is expressed on human monocytes, macrophages, and IFN-gamma activated granulocytes.

Low Dose Rituximab Efficiently Clears Circulating CLL Cells and Maintains Sensitivity to Antibody Dependent Cellular Phagocytosis (ADCP)

Blood, 2023
Introduction: We have recently shown that high frequency (2 x week) low dose (50 mg)(HFLD) rituximab (RTX) and acalabrutinib is highly effective initial therapy for patients (n=38) with progressive CLL (ClinicalTrials.gov NCT03788291, PMID:36689726).

Abstract P1-07-04: Potential role of the antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis (ADCP) in tumors achieving pCR in NRG Oncology/NSABP B-52

Cancer Research, 2022
Abstract Background: The NRG Oncology/NSABP B-52 neoadjuvant clinical trial was conducted to test if the addition of estrogen deprivation (ED) would improve the pCR rate in HER2+/ER+ breast cancer patients (pts) treated with docetaxel, carboplatin, trastuzumab, and pertuzumab (TCHP). A numerical increase in pCR rate was observed with ED (

Abstract PS17-06: Humanized anti-CD47 monoclonal antibody magrolimab (Hu5F9-G4) plus trastuzumab potentiates antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis (ADCP), and cooperate to inhibit human HER2+ breast cancer (BC) xenografts growth in vivo

Cancer Research, 2021
Abstract Background: Cancer cells overexpress CD47 to evade phagocytic programmed cell removal (PrCR) by macrophages of the innate immune system. Blocking CD47 using magrolimab (Hu5F9-G4), an anti-CD47 humanized monoclonal antibody, works via preventing CD47 signaling via macrophage Sirpα to allow PrCR, as well as using an Fc-receptor ...

Abstract A015: Imprime PGG treatment enhances antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis (ADCP) of tumor cells by monocyte-derived macrophages

Cancer Immunology Research, 2016
Abstract Imprime PGG (Imprime), a soluble, yeast β-1,3/1,6 glucan is currently in clinical development for the treatment of cancer in conjunction with several therapeutic monoclonal antibodies (MAbs). Some of the MAbs that are being evaluated in combination with Imprime include, rituximab (anti-CD20) in an investigator initiated study ...
