Antibodies, repertoires and microdevices in antibody discovery and characterization

open access: yesLab on a Chip
Essential in treating numerous diseases, novel therapeutic antibody candidates are needed. This critical review examines recent advances in microdevices and the challenges associated with candidate discovery and characterization.

Human monoclonal islet specific autoantibodies share features of islet cell and 64 kDa antibodies [PDF]

open access: yes, 1993
The first human monoclonal islet cell antibodies of the IgG class (MICA 1-6) obtained from an individual with Type 1 (insulin-dependent) diabetes mellitus were cytoplasmic islet cell antibodies selected by the indirect immunofluorescence test on pancreas

NAT10‐Mediated ac4C Modification of circANKRD12 Reprograms the Tumor Microenvironment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
NAT10‐dependent acetylation of circANKRD12 drives translation of the circANKRD12_354aa protein, which binds HDAC2 to stabilize c‐Myc via deubiquitination, promoting multiple myeloma (MM) cell proliferation. Concurrently, the circANKRD12‐HDAC2 axis suppresses H3ac‐mediated transcription of IFN‐γ, TNF‐α, and GZMB in NK cells, leading to NK cell ...

Large-scale network analysis reveals the sequence space architecture of antibody repertoires

open access: yesNature Communications, 2019
Analysis of large-scale immune repertoire architecture remains a challenge. Here, the authors introduce an approach to construct similarity networks from high-throughput antibody repertoire sequencing data, and show that the networks are redundant ...

A Non‐Canonical Role of SMAD4 in Regulating 3D Genome Architecture to Inhibit Lung Squamous Cell Carcinoma Development

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SMAD4 is identified as a guardian of 3D genome architecture in lung squamous cell carcinoma. Loss of SMAD4 unleashes EP300 at chromatin loop anchors, strengthening enhancer–promoter looping and H3K27ac at the SOX2 locus to drive aberrant SOX2 activation and tumor cell proliferation.

Combining Radiation‐Treated Tumor Vaccines With Mn‐MOF Nanoadjuvants to Amplify Radiation Induced Anti‐Tumor Immune Responses

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Radiotherapy‐treated tumor membranes are integrated with Mn‐MOF nanoadjuvants to generate Mn@RM, a lymph node‐draining nanovaccine that delivers radiotherapy‐remodeled antigenic components. Mn@RM enhances dendritic cell activation, amplifies T cell‐mediated antitumor immunity, and synergizes with radiotherapy and PD‐1 blockade for combination cancer ...

An antigen-driven B-cell response within the salivary glands of patients with Sjögren’s syndrome [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Infection with a bacterium or virus induces the production of antibodies, specialised protein molecules that bind to and eliminate the microorganism.

Serum Antibody Repertoire Profiling Using In Silico Antigen Screen.

open access: yes, 2013
Serum antibodies are valuable source of information on the health state of an organism. The profiles of serum antibody reactivity can be generated by using a high throughput sequencing of peptide-coding DNA from combinatorial random peptide phage display

Heat Shock Protein 90: From Molecular Chaperone Function to Therapeutic Targeting in Malignancies

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this review, an integrated conceptual framework linking HSP90's molecular chaperone functions to its pathological roles in cancer is proposed. HSP90 serves as a central node that integrates oncogenic signaling, buffers proteotoxic stress, maintains cancer stem cell plasticity, and shapes tumor‐immune interactions, all of which converge to drive ...

The physiological landscape and specificity of antibody repertoires are consolidated by multiple immunizations

open access: yeseLife
Diverse antibody repertoires spanning multiple lymphoid organs (i.e., bone marrow, spleen, lymph nodes) form the foundation of protective humoral immunity.
