The V(D)J recombination forms the immunoglobulin genes by joining the variable (V), diversity (D), and joining (J) germline genes. Since variations in germline genes have been linked to various diseases, personalized immunogenomics aims at finding ...

Antibody Subclass Repertoire and Graft Outcome Following Solid Organ Transplantation [PDF]
Long-term outcomes in solid organ transplantation are constrained by the development of donor specific alloantibodies (DSA) against human leukocyte antigen (HLA) and other targets, which elicit antibody-mediated rejection (ABMR).

HNRNPD promotes radioresistance in nasopharyngeal carcinoma by enhancing stress granule assembly and sequestering GRAMD4 mRNA. This suppresses GRAMD4 translation and inhibits mitochondrial apoptosis. Targeting the integrated stress response with ISRIB restores GRAMD4 expression and sensitizes tumors to radiotherapy, revealing a translational control ...

Discriminating cross-reactivity in polyclonal IgG1 responses against SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern
Profiling antibody repertoires using proteomic approaches may provide a way of screening for antibody cross-reactivity against SARS-CoV-2 variants. Here the authors use a IgG1 specific cleavage method to analyse the IgG1 repertoire within recovered ...

THUMPD1 drives a tumor‐suppressive signaling cascade in lung adenocarcinoma by promoting IGF2R expression. IGF2R associates with PPP2R1A to suppress AKT and activate AMPK, leading to SLC31A1 upregulation and copper accumulation. Elevated copper disrupts mitochondrial metabolism and induces excessive mitophagy, thereby restraining tumor growth and ...

Comparison of methods for phylogenetic B-cell lineage inference using time-resolved antibody repertoire simulations (AbSim) [PDF]
Motivation The evolution of antibody repertoires represents a hallmark feature of adaptive B-cell immunity. Recent advancements in high-throughput sequencing have dramatically increased the resolution to which we can measure the molecular diversity of ...

Prostate cancer is immunologically ‘cold’, with scarce, dysfunctional type 1 conventional dendritic cells (cDC1s) that limit T cell priming. We introduce an aptamer‐targeted liposomedelivering FMS‐like tyrosine kinase 3 ligand (Flt3L) and chlorin e6 (Ce6). Ultrasound induces antigen release and cDC1s recruitment, creating an in situ cDC1 vaccine.

The dengue-specific immune response and antibody identification with machine learning
Dengue virus poses a serious threat to global health and there is no specific therapeutic for it. Broadly neutralizing antibodies recognizing all serotypes may be an effective treatment.
