Multiscale Hybrid Surface Topographies Orchestrate Immune Regulation, Antibacterial Defense, and Tissue Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Hybrid wrinkled topographies coordinate immune, tissue, and bacterial interactions. The surfaces promote osteointegration, tune macrophage polarization, and inhibit biofilm formation, highlighting a multifunctional strategy for next‐generation implant design.

Antimicrobial susceptible test

open access: yesInternational Journal of Veterinary Science and Research, 2018
Anti-microbial susceptibility test is useful to guide the clinician in the selection of antimicrobial agents to which clinical condition being treated will respond. There are three principal methods of antimicrobial susceptibility testing like disc diffusion, brothy dilution and agar dilution.

Targeting the ARRDC3–DRP1 Axis via hUMSC‐Derived Exosomal CRYAB for Neuroprotection in Cerebral Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Intranasally administered hUMSC‐derived exosomes modulate the CRYAB–ARRDC3–Drp1 axis, alleviating mitochondrial dysfunction and ferroptosis, enhancing neuronal survival, reducing oxidative stress, and promoting functional recovery in ischemia‐reperfusion injury, offering a promising therapeutic strategy for ischemic stroke.

A Population-Based Surveillance Study of Shared Genotypes of Escherichia coli Isolates from Retail Meat and Suspected Cases of Urinary Tract Infections. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
There is increasing evidence that retail food may serve as a source of Escherichia coli that causes community-acquired urinary tract infections, but the impact of this source in a community is not known. We conducted a prospective, population-based study
