Social Determinants of Health and Their Association With Parkinson′s Disease Prevalence in US Adults: Insights From NHANES 2001–2020

open access: yesBehavioural Neurology, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Background Social determinants of health (SDoH) have not been comprehensively studied in relation to Parkinson′s disease (PD), although they are well known to be associated with other chronic diseases. Here we assessed the relationship of a multidimensional, comprehensive measure of SDoH with the prevalence of PD in US adults.

Second-generation antipsychotic drugs and extrapyramidal side effects: a systematic review and meta-analysis of head-to-head comparisons.

open access: yes, 2012
While all second-generation antipsychotics (SGAs) are promoted for having a low risk of extrapyramidal side effects (EPS), clinical observations suggest differences between the various agents.

Synthesis of Various Dihydro–Thiazole and Selenazole Heterocycles

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 27, Issue 43, November 18, 2024.
The synthesis of thiazole derivatives was achieved by reacting I2/SCN− with various push‐pull alkenes. The substitution followed by intramolecular cyclization under mild conditions resulted in the desired products. When KSeCN was used, a selenazole derivative was formed.
