Dumulmycin, an Antitubercular Bicyclic Macrolide from a Riverine Sediment-Derived Streptomyces sp.

Organic Letters, 2021
Dumulmycin (1) was isolated from Streptomyces sp. DM28, a bacterial strain from a riverine sediment sample. The structure of 1 was elucidated as a bicyclic macrolide possessing 19-membered and 5-membered rings by spectroscopic analysis.

Antitubercular Activity of New Coumarins [PDF]

open access: possibleChemical Biology & Drug Design, 2011
The present article describes a series of 21 N ′‐benzylidene‐2‐oxo‐2H‐chromene‐3‐carbohydrazides 4a–4v, which were synthesized and evaluated for their cell viabilities in non‐infected and Mycobacterium bovis Bacillus Calmette–Guerin‐infected macrophages.

Antitubercular Action of Disinfectants

Journal of Applied Bacteriology, 1971
SUMMARY: The antitubercular effect of disinfectants has been tested with adaptations of 2 recently introduced techniques (Kelsey & Sykes, 1969; Bergan & Lystad, 1971b). Only the phenolic compounds tested were effective tuberculocides.

Pyrazole-coumarin and pyrazole-quinoline chalcones as potential antitubercular agents.

Archiv der Pharmazie, 2020
Pyrazole, coumarin, and quinoline are medicinally important moieties. In this study, two series of novel pyrazole-coumarin chalcones and pyrazole-quinoline chalcones were synthesized using multiple-step reactions.
