Loss of Tripartite Motif–Containing Protein 21 and UVB‐Induced Systemic Inflammation by Regulating DNA‐Sensing Pathways

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, Volume 78, Issue 1, Page 172-183, January 2026.
Objective Patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) experience photosensitivity, with exposure to UVB light driving lupus flares and triggering symptoms like joint pain, fatigue, and cutaneous lesions. Although the mechanism(s) linking UVB exposure to systemic effects are unclear, type I interferons (IFNs) are known to play a role.

Ouabain exacerbates activation-induced cell death in human peripheral blood lymphocytes

Lymphocytes activated by mitogenic lectins display changes in transmembrane potential, an elevation in the cytoplasmic Ca2+ concentrations, proliferation and/or activation induced cell death.

Apoptose em pólipos nasais eosinofílicos submetidos in vitro ao tratamento com mitomicina C Apoptosis in eosinophilic nasal polyps treated in vitro with mitomycin C

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Otorhinolaryngology, 2012

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 137, Issue 49, December 1, 2025.

Do yeast apoptose?

open access: yesThe Journal of Cell Biology, 2004
![][1] Dead cells bind dye nonspecifically. Suicide in a unicellular organism might sound like a lousy idea, but there are several possible justifications. Budding yeast cells that are sickly, mating-incompetent, or stuck in the middle of a colony might do better to go out with ...
