Elliptic Combinatorics and Markov Processes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We present combinatorial and probabilistic interpretations of recent results in the theory of elliptic special functions (due to, among many others, Frenkel, Turaev, Spiridonov, and Zhedanov in the case of univariate functions, and Rains in the ...

Four Families of Summation Formulas for 4F3(1) with Application

open access: yesAxioms
A collection of functions organized according to their indexing based on non-negative integers is grouped by the common factor of fixed integer N. This grouping results in a summation of N series, each consisting of functions partitioned according to ...

STAID: A Self‐Refining Deep Learning Framework for Spatial Cell‐Type Deconvolution with Biologically Informed Modeling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
STAID is a unified deep learning framework that couples iterative pseudo‐spot refinement with neural network training through a feedback loop and exploits gene co‐expression information to model higher‐order interactions, achieving accurate and robust cell‐type deconvolution in spatial transcriptomics.

Fractional Hypergeometric Functions

open access: yes, 2022
The fractional calculus of special functions has significant importance and applications in various fields of science and engineering. Here, we aim to find the fractional integral and differential formulas of the extended hypergeometric-type functions by

A Non‐Canonical Core Transcriptional Regulatory Circuit Orchestrates Chromatin Reprogramming to Drive Osimertinib Resistance in Non‐Small Cell Lung Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A non‐canonical core transcriptional regulatory circuit, composed of ID3, SMAD3, and NR2F2, drives Osimertinib resistance in non‐small cell lung cancer through super‐enhancer‐mediated activation of EPAS1, which couples neuroendocrine differentiation with ferroptosis evasion.

Classical Elliptic Hypergeometric Functions And Their Applications

open access: yes, 2008
General theory of elliptic hypergeometric series and integrals is outlined. Main attention is paid to the examples obeying properties of "classical" special functions. In particular, an elliptic analogue of the Gauss hypergeometric function and

Hadamard k-fractional inequalities of Fejér type for GA-s-convex mappings and applications

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2019
The main aim of this paper is to establish some Fejér-type inequalities involving hypergeometric functions in terms of GA-s-convexity. For this purpose, we construct a Hadamard k-fractional identity related to geometrically symmetric mappings.

A simplification of Laplace’s method: Applications to the Gamma function and Gauss hypergeometric function

open access: yesJournal of Approximation Theory, 2009
If a function \(f\) has a minimum at \(t_0\in(a, b)\), we have the classical asymptotic expansion \[ F(x):= \int^b_a g(t)\exp(-xf(t))\,dt\sim \exp(- xf(t_0)) \sum^\infty_{n=0} c_{2n}{\Gamma(n+{1\over 2})\over x^{n-{1\over 2}}},\quad x\to+\infty, \] but the coefficients, arising from a change of variable, are in general hard to find.

Expanded Hepatic Progenitor Cells Featured with Aggregation of α‐Synuclein Contribute to Pathologic Bile Duct Regeneration in Biliary Atresia

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Expanded NCAM1+EpCAM+ hepatic progenitor cells in biliary atresia are characterized by aggregation of α‐synuclein. This pathological protein potentiates cellular susceptibility to GSH‐dependent redox dyshomeostasis, induces unstable biliary cell fate specification, and subsequently drives aberrant biliary regeneration.
