This review provides an overview of recent developments in metal organic framework (MOF)‐based and MOF‐derived composites for efficient oxygen evolution reaction. This review also emphasizes the structural design of electrocatalyst, active site optimization, and emerging prospects of their use in practical electrolyzer systems.

Synthesis, Crystal Structure, and Optoelectronic Properties of [(n‐/tert‐C4H9)S(CH3)2]PbI3

Reaction of two isomers of butyldimethylsulfonium cation with PbI2 using solid‐state and solution methods yielded the corresponding organic/inorganic hybrid compounds with high humidity tolerance and 1D crystal structures of [n‐C4H9S(CH3)2]PbI3 and [tert‐C4H9S(CH3)2]PbI3.

Stereoselective Synthesis of Glycomimetic Amines From Biomass‐Derived Cyrene

2,3,4‐Trideoxy‐2‐mannosamines, including the unsubstituted one, are accessible as the only endo diastereoisomers by reductive amination of the green solvent Cyrene, derived from pyrolysis of cellulose containing waste biomass. The products are useful chiral synthetic intermediate to nitrogenated glycomimetics.
