Sensitive Detection of Halides and Nitrate in Organic and Aqueous Solvents through Selective Halogen Bonding on TTF‐SAM‐Modified Platinum Electrodes

open access: yesChemElectroChem, 2022
Tetrathiafulvalene derivatives were chemisorbed on platinum electrodes. The electrochemical behavior and the stability of the resulting redox active self‐assembled monolayers in the presence of various anions was studied by cyclic voltammetry.

Giant Conductivity Modulation and Chemical Neuromodulation via Proton‐Electron Coupling in a Hydrogen‐Bonded Coordination Polymer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A “de‐doping” strategy positions mixed protonic–electronic conductors (MPECs) as adaptive neuromorphic platforms with dynamically tunable transport. Co‐BAND achieves giant conductivity modulation (>106) and chemically tunable synaptic plasticity. Analogous to biological neuromodulation, solvent vapors dynamically reprogram the device's learning rules ...

Laminate comprising fibers embedded in cured amine terminated bis-imide [PDF]

open access: yes, 1986
Amine terminated bisaspartimides are prepared by a Michael type reaction of an aromatic bismaleimide and an aromatic diamine in an aprotic solvent. These bisaspartimides are thermally polymerized to yield tough, resinous polymers crosslinked through -NH-

All‐Solution‐Processed Perovskite Light‐Emitting Transistors Enabled by a Fully Organic Architecture

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Fully solution‐processed light‐emitting transistors based on CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocrystals (Pe‐LETs) are demonstrated using an all‐organic platform. By optimizing film formation and device integration, the Pe‐LETs achieve bright green emission with excellent color purity and a peak external quantum efficiency of 4.17 × 10−3 %, marking a step forward ...

Sustainable Carbon Fibers Enable Stable Long‐Term Lithium Metal Deposition for Prospective Zero‐Excess Lithium Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents lightweight, lignin‐derived carbon fiber current collectors that enable controlled lithium deposition. Structural defects and intermediate‐sized pores stabilize pre‐nucleation quasi‐metallic lithium clusters, promoting uniform lithium plating and stripping.

Intelligent approach to solvent substitution : the identification of a new class of levoglucosenone derivatives [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
With the increasing restriction and control of hazardous solvents, safer alternatives need to be identified. Here a contemporary approach to solvent selection and substitution is presented that offers a more scientific alternative to the simple “like-for-

How Accurate is the SMD Model for Predicting Free Energy Barriers for Nucleophilic Substitution Reactions in Polar Protic and Dipolar Aprotic Solvents

open access: yes, 2016
In the past seven years, the SMD (Solvent Model Density) method has been widely used by computational chemists. Thus, assessment on the reliability of this model for modeling chemical process in solution is worthwhile. In this report, it was investigated
