Hyperspectral Prisma Products of Aquatic Systems
2021 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium IGARSS, 2021This study presents an assessment of PRISMA (PRecursore IperSpettrale della Missione Applicativa) for water applications, by including a general description of the mission and by focusing on the standard Level 1 (L1) and Level 2 (L2) products acquired on different aquatic systems.

Methylmercury production and distribution in aquatic systems
Science of The Total Environment, 1999Mercury methylation and partitioning between sediment, water and fish were studied in river sediment spiked with mercuric chloride at levels of 1, 5 and 10 ppm as Hg. Maximum methylmercury production in the sediment occurred during the first week of incubation, with concentrations reaching 45.5 ng/g (dry wt.).

Periphyton and aquatic production: an introduction.
2005AbstractPeriphyton community comprises bacteria, fungi, protozoa, phytoplankton, zooplankton, benthic organisms, organic detritus and a range of other invertebrates and their larvae. This introductory paper discusses the contribution of periphyton to aquatic productivity and the status of world aquaculture in terms of culture systems, production and ...

Mangrove Forests and Aquatic Productivity
1975The connection between terrestrial primary production and aquatic secondary production has often been overlooked. In many streams, rivers, lakes, and even coastal waters, the most important source of plant energy is not phytoplankton or benthic algae, but detritus particles originating from trees, shrubs, sedges, and grasses in the watershed.

Research on the Tracing of Aquatic Products Production Based on PDA
2016The communication design of PDA client and server in C/S architecture is mainly studied in this paper. The data synchronization and cross platform sharing is achieved by using SQLCE and SQLServer technology, and then the communication and data processing functions among PDA, server and bar code printing is realized in aquatic products traceability ...

The Design of the Tracing of Aquatic Products Production Based on PDA
2016This paper mainly studies the key technology of aquatic product traceability system based on PDA mode, and finally designs a scheme of the system. To achieve this scheme, a B/S and C/S hybrid architecture is being built. C/S, the client side, is the aquatic product traceability system based on PDA.

Vulnerabilities in aquatic animal production.
Revue scientifique et technique (International Office of Epizootics), 2020The role of aquatic animals in global food and nutrition security is increasingly recognised. The global demand for fish is increasing, leading to a need to significantly increase its supply. Securing future fish supplies through sustainable production is a challenge as major resources such as fresh water and land are becoming limited worldwide ...
