ACSM5 Regulates Ferroptosis in Hepatocellular Carcinoma by Up‐Regulating POR and Modulating Lipid Metabolism

ACSM5 induced ferroptosis in HCC by up‐regulating cytochrome P450 oxidoreductase (POR). The metabolic transformation of linoleic acid to arachidonic acid was also promoted by ACSM5; thereby, the sensitivity to ferroptosis was elevated. ABSTRACT The medium‐chain fatty acyl‐CoA synthetase‐5 (ACSM5) plays a crucial role in the development of some cancers.

GPD1L‐Mediated Glycerophospholipid Metabolism Dysfunction in Women With Diminished Ovarian Reserve: Insights From Pseudotargeted Metabolomic Analysis of Follicular Fluid

Our study demonstrated the downregulation of GPD1L and its mediated glycerophospholipid metabolism dysfunction in patients with diminished ovarian reserve. Moreover, we verified that GPD1L knockdown leads to increased cell apoptosis and mitochondrial dysfunction of KGN cells, as well as impaired oocyte quality.

Abstract Objective Biallelic pathogenic MBOAT7 variants are associated with neurodevelopmental disorders, intellectual disability (ID), epilepsy, and neuropsychiatric disorders such as attention‐deficit/hyperactivity disorder and autism spectrum disorders. We aimed to characterize the epilepsy phenotype in a cohort of patients affected by this syndrome.
