The role of MHC class I recycling and Arf6 in cross-presentation by murine dendritic cells
MHC-I internalization and recycling in DCs neither requires Arf6 nor provides MHC-I to the Rab11+ endocytic recycling compartment; however, cross-presentation of immune complexes depends on Arf6.

Loss of Pdlim7 results in unbalanced Arf6-GDP / GTP ratios.
(A) Western-blot analysis using anti-Pdlim7 antibodies of washed platelets from WT and Pdlim7-/- mice demonstrates presence of Pdlim7 proteins in WT, but not Pdlim7-/- platelet lysates (Pdlim7). Anti-Arf6 antibodies detected similar amounts of total Arf6

A Role for ARF6 and ARNO in the Regulation of Endosomal Dynamics in Neurons [PDF]
During development, neuronal processes extend, branch and navigate to ultimately synapse with target tissue. We have shown a regulatory role for ARNO and ARF6 in dendritic branching and axonal elongation and branching during neuritogenesis, particularly with respect to cytoskeletal dynamics.

Heterozygosity for ADP-ribosylation factor 6 suppresses the burden and severity of atherosclerosis.
Atherosclerosis is the root cause of major cardiovascular diseases (CVD) such as myocardial infarction and stroke. ADP-ribosylation factor 6 (Arf6) is a ubiquitously expressed GTPase known to be involved in inflammation, vascular permeability and is ...
