Palatable food alleviates stress and prevents anxiety. This study uncovers a dedicated neural pathway: dopamine release in the PFC activates D1R neurons, whose projections to the peri‐PVN engage a population of anxiolytic CRFR1 neurons. These neurons then inhibit stress‐induced hyperactivity of PVNCRF neurons, providing a circuit‐level explanation for ...

Fusion of neurohypophyseal membranes in vitro [PDF]
Freeze cleaving electron microscopy has shown that fusion of isolated secretory vesicles from bovine neurohypophyses was induced by Ca 2+ in micromolar concentrations. Mg 2+ and Sr 2+ were ineffective. Mg 2+ inhibited Ca 2+-induced fusion. In suspensions

ABSTRACT Multimodal chromatography has emerged as a powerful tool for the purification of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and their derivatives—including antibody fragments (Fabs), Fc‐fusions, bispecific (BsAb), and antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs)—offering enhanced selectivity through the integration of ionic, hydrophobic, hydrogen‐bonding, and π–π ...

A three-year-old boy with hypodipsic hypernatremia syndrome
We describe a three-year-old boy who had a growth and psychomotor retardation associated with inappropriate lack of thirst and vasopressin secretion in the presence of chronic plasma hyperosmolarity.

THE EFFECTS OF TWO ANALOGUES OF ARGININE‐VASOPRESSIN (ORNITHINE‐VASOPRESSIN AND DESAMINO‐D‐ARGININE‐VASOPRESSIN) ON KIDNEY FUNCTION IN SHEEP [PDF]
The effects of intravenous infusion of ornithine‐vasopressin (OVP) and desamino‐D‐arginine‐vasopressin (dDAVP) were studied in normal and hydrated Merino sheep. In normal sheep, OVP resulted in a diuresis, increased urinary sodium and potassium excretion, and a fall in the plasma potassium concentration.

Abstract Infantile epilepsy spasms syndrome (IESS), formerly known as infantile spasms or West Syndrome, is a severe epilepsy syndrome affecting about 3 in 10,000 newborns in the United States. Characterized by clusters of epileptic spasms, interictal hypsarrhythmia, and developmental delays, IESS has diverse causes, including structural‐metabolic ...
