Novel (S)‐5′‐guanidinopropyl uridine analogs bearing 2′‐O‐methyl or 2′‐fluoro substitutions enhance nuclease resistance and mismatch discrimination while preserving A‐form RNA structure and potent RNAi activity. These modifications provide a promising strategy for improving the stability, specificity, and therapeutic potential of siRNA‐based medicines.

MicroRNAs in Spinal Cord Injury: Molecular and Translational Insights
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) modulate secondary injury cascades following spinal cord injury (SCI), including inflammation, oxidative stress, apoptosis, and demyelination. Key miRNAs such as miR‐21, miR‐124, miR‐219, and miR‐223 exert neuroprotective effects by regulating astrocytic response, axon regeneration, and remyelination.

Recent Advances in the Molecular Mechanisms of Bacterial Anti‐Phage Defence Systems
Panoptes as an example for an antiphage system consists of OptS producing a cyclic dinucleotide that prevents activation of OptE, a transmembrane protein. Phage T4 infection introduces the sponge protein Acb2 that adsorbs the cyclic dinucleotide thus activating OptE which disrupts the cell membrane aborting phage infection.
