This study introduces a subthreshold in‐memory anomaly detection architecture for wearable ECG monitoring using floating‐gate IGZO content‐addressable memories on a flexible substrate. Area‐engineered coupling provides a high subthreshold slope, while subthreshold operation realizes intrinsic exponential distance evaluation and linear voltage sensing ...

ABSTRACT Metal corrosion causes significant economic losses and safety hazards, underscoring the urgent need for effective, environmentally friendly corrosion inhibitors. In this study, an organic–inorganic composite inhibitor, chitosan–glucose–BN (CS–GL–BN) was developed to protect Q235 mild steel in a 3.5‐wt% NaCl solution.

Parallel Multi‐Operand Addition Using CPA‐Trees and Carry‐Select Adders
A balanced parallel CPA‐tree architecture with CSLA reduces the critical‐path delay of multi‐operand addition while preserving structural regularity. ASIC results demonstrate delay reductions of up to 34% with low area overhead, providing an efficient and scalable solution for high‐performance arithmetic.

The neural circuits for arithmetic principles
Arithmetic principles are the regularities underlying arithmetic computation. Little is known about how the brain supports the processing of arithmetic principles. The current fMRI study examined neural activation and functional connectivity during the processing of verbalized arithmetic principles, as compared to numerical computation and general ...

Arithmetic Circuits with Division
We study the computational complexity of the membership problem for arithmetic circuits over natural numbers with division. We consider different subsets of the operations {intersection,union,complement,+,x,/}, where / is the element-wise integer division (without remainder and without rounding).

TiO2/chlorophyll bio‐hybrid nanofluid achieved the highest PVT performance, increasing thermal efficiency to 38.74% and overall efficiency to 51.35%, compared with 35.96% and 48.45% for Al2O3/water and 27.77% and 40.18% for water. The results demonstrate the potential of bio‐hybrid nanofluids for high‐efficiency solar thermal energy conversion ...

Vog: Using Volcanic Eruptions to Estimate the Health Costs of Particulates
The negative consequences of long‐term exposure to particulate pollution are well established but a number of studies find no effect of short‐term exposure on health outcomes. The high correlation of industrial pollutants complicates the estimation of the impact of individual pollutants on health.
