EFFECT OF GOEMETRY ON THE ANALYSIS OF THERMAL EXPLOSION OF A STRONGLY EXOTHERMIC CHEMICAL REACTONS [PDF]
This study is devoted to investigate the effect of geometry on thermal explosion of a strong exothermic chemical reaction with variable pre-exponential factor under Bimolecular, Arrhenius and Sensitised reaction rate, neglecting the consumption of the ...

Onset Temperature of Slow Dynamics in Glass Forming Liquids
The behaviour of a model glass forming liquid is analyzed for a range of densities, with a focus on the temperature interval where the liquid begins to display non-Arrhenius temperature dependence of relaxation times.

The shape of guanine self‐assemblies is tuned by introducing alkyl (G8), fluoroalkyl (G8f), and oligoether (G8g) side chains into the G moiety. The scanning tunneling microscopy results and calculations show that the presence and type of the side chain strongly affect the G self‐assembly network.

Breakdown of Kinetic Compensation Effect in Physical Desorption
The kinetic compensation effect (KCE), observed in many fields of science, is the systematic variation in the apparent magnitudes of the Arrhenius parameters $E_a$, the energy of activation, and $\nu$, the preexponential factor, as a response to ...

We report phosphine‐oxide interlayers for wide‐bandgap perovskite solar cells, in which tuned P = O Lewis basicity enables selective passivation of buried NiOx/perovskite interfaces and introduces interfacial dipoles that strengthen the built‐in field.

The study presents an antibiotic‐free strategy using medical fabrics coated with supramolecular assemblies of polyarginine and hyaluronic acid. These coatings showed strong antimicrobial and anti‐biofilm activity in vitro and in vivo, achieving major bacterial load reductions, including against MRSA.

Ferroelectric Quantum Dots for Retinomorphic In‐Sensor Computing
This work has provided a protocol for fabricating retinomorphic phototransistors by integrating ferroelectric ligands with quantum dots. The resulting device combines ferroelectricity, optical responsiveness, and low‐power operation to enable adaptive signal amplification and high recognition accuracy under low‐light conditions, while supporting ...

Transition metal oxy/carbo‐nitrides show great promise as catalysts for sustainable processes. A Mn‐Mo mixed‐metal oxynitride attains remarkable performance for the direct synthesis of acetonitrile, an important commodity chemical, via sequential C─N and C─C coupling from syngas (C1) and ammonia (N1) feedstocks.

Metal-free formal synthesis of phenoxazine
A transition metal-free formal synthesis of phenoxazine is presented. The key step of the sequence is a high-yielding O-arylation of a phenol with an unsymmetrical diaryliodonium salt to provide an ortho-disubstituted diaryl ether.

Crystal Growth Engineering for Dendrite‐Free Zinc Metal Plating
This research employed the rare‐earth ion dysprosium (Dy) to modulate aqueous zinc (Zn) metal plating. Integrated multiscale experiments and computational modeling unveiled the preferential adsorption of Dy on specific crystal facets, which activated screw dislocation‐driven Zn growth.
