Dissolvable polymeric microneedles loaded with aspirin for antiplatelet aggregation
To reduce mucosal damage in the gastrointestinal tract caused by aspirin, we developed a dissolvable polymeric microneedle (MN) patch loaded with aspirin. Biodegradable polymers provide mechanical strength to the MNs. The MN tips punctured the cuticle of

Bridging the gap: Multi‐stakeholder perspectives of molecular diagnostics in oncology
Although molecular diagnostics is transforming cancer care, implementing novel technologies remains challenging. This study identifies unmet needs and technology requirements through a two‐step stakeholder involvement. Liquid biopsies for monitoring applications and predictive biomarker testing emerge as key unmet needs. Technology requirements vary by

A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

Low-dose aspirin for primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular events in Denmark 1998–2018
Randomised controlled trials have shown a neutral or even unfavourable risk–benefit balance of aspirin for primary prevention of cardiovascular events. Using Danish nationwide registries, we investigated aspirin use and associated risks during the past ...

Following high dose rate brachytherapy (HDR‐BT) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), patients were classified as responders and nonresponders. Post‐therapy serum induced increased BrdU incorporation and Cyclin E expression of Huh7 and HepG2 cells in nonresponders, but decreased levels in responders.

Aspirin use and the risk of bleeding complications after therapeutic bronchoscopy
Background: Aspirin use has been shown to be safe for patients undergoing certain diagnostic bronchoscopy procedures such as transbronchial biopsies and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS)-guided transbronchial needle aspiration.
