Effects of measurement errors on relationships between resting-state functional connectivity and psychological phenotypes

open access: yesScientific Reports
Recent neuroscientific studies have focused on interindividual relationships between resting-state functional connectivity (RSFC) and psychological phenotypes using large datasets with repeated measurements, including the Human Connectome Project (HCP ...

High‐Performance Bio‐Glue From the Berries of a Parasitic Plant

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report a fully bio‐based adhesive derived primarily from a (poly)saccharide extract obtained from the berries of the hemi‐parasitic plant mistletoe (Viscum album), supplemented with tannic and malic acid without any further chemical functionalization.

Intrinsically Stretchable Piezoelectric Nanocomposites for Artificial Ultrasonic Sensory Synapse

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Applying ultrasonic stimulations to a soft‐stretchable underwater piezoelectric sensor based on the soft‐stretchable nanocomposite from the thermal cross‐linking between the ─C─F group of P(VDF‐TrFE) and the ─NH2 group of (PEG‐diamine) with incorporating amine‐terminated BTO@APTES nanofillers on the soft PDMS substrates generated high piezoelectric ...

SAR ATR Based on Convolutional Neural Network

open access: yesLeida xuebao, 2016
This study presents a new method of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) image target recognition based on a convolutional neural network. First, we introduce a class separability measure into the cost function to improve this network’s ability to distinguish ...

Metal–Organic Framework‐Preserved Thermostable Microneedle Patch for Minimally Invasive Detection and Monitoring of Kidney Dysfunction

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
By growing a conformal ZIF‐8 protective layer directly on antibody‐functionalized microneedles, this work converts a fragile biosensing interface into a thermostable diagnostic platform. The MOF@MN patch enables minimally invasive NGAL detection from dermal ISF while supporting cold‐chain‐independent storage and transport for decentralized kidney ...

Road Traffic Anomaly Detection Based on Fuzzy Theory

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
The road traffic scenes are usually complex and the traffic video is vulnerable to external factors such as light, weather, and obstructions. It is difficult to extract the traffic parameters and detect the traffic anomaly exactly with the existing image

Multifunctional Wound Dressings: Melt Electrowritten Scaffolds Combined With Phytotherapeutic Composite Hydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The increasing prevalence of impaired wounds, caused mainly by diabetes or aging, alongside the growing number of bacterial infections, indicates the need for alternative tissue engineering solutions. In this study, we developed novel melt electrowritten (MEW) polycaprolactone (PCL) scaffolds incorporated with an alginate (Alg)–gelatin (Gel ...

CNN with coarse‐to‐fine layer for hierarchical classification

open access: yesIET Computer Vision, 2018
Most of the traditional convolution neural network (CNN)‐based classification models are flat classifiers, which have an underlying assumption that all classes are equally difficult to distinguish.
