Design of the RLG Current Stabilizer Circuit for Attitude Control in the Satellite [PDF]
In this paper, we describe the RLG current stabilizer circuit for attitude control in the satellite. The RLG makes use of the Sagnac effect within a resonant of a HeNe laser.

Two degree-of-freedom spacecraft attitude controller [PDF]
Two degree-of-freedom controller is designed together with its governing equations for a spacecraft pitch attitude control. The attitude controller incorporates the Active Force Control (AFC) technique into the conventional Proportional-Derivative (PD ...

A Novel Disturbance Rejection Control of Roll Channel for Small Air-to-Surface Missiles
In this paper, the issue of roll channel for attitude control for small air-to-surface missiles suffering from multiple disturbances is investigated. The dynamic model of roll channel is established and the roll controller of roll channel based on the ...

Error Dynamics Based Dual Heuristic Dynamic Programming for Self-Learning Flight Control
A data-driven nonlinear control approach, called error dynamics-based dual heuristic dynamic programming (ED-DHP), is proposed for air vehicle attitude control. To solve the optimal tracking control problem, the augmented system is defined by the derived

Optimal Magnetic Attitude Control
Magnetic torquing is attractive as means of control for small satellites. The actuation principle is to use the interaction between the earth's magnetic field and a magnetic field generated by a coil set in the satellite. This control principle is inherently time-varying, and difficult to use because control torques can only be generated perpendicular ...

Reinforcement Learning for UAV Attitude Control [PDF]
Autopilot systems are typically composed of an "inner loop" providing stability and control, while an "outer loop" is responsible for mission-level objectives, e.g. way-point navigation.

Steering law considering biased loads for control moment gyroscopes
A new steering law of a pyramid configuration of four control moment gyroscopes (CMGs) is proposed to suppress radical motion of gimbals, reduce the gimbal angular displacement and level the biased ones of the four CMGs.

APPLE MAGNETIC ATTITUDE CONTROL (AMAC) — A NEW ATTITUDE CONTROL CONCEPT
Abstract A novel closed loop magnetic attitude control scheme for momentum biased, near equatorial orbit satellites is described. Unlike the other schemes proposed so far, the controller presented here performs both the attitude correction and nutation damping, thus obviating the need for a seperate nutation damping mechanism.
