Diagnostic Yield of Post‐Mortem Fetal Micro‐CT for Central Nervous System Abnormalities
ABSTRACT Objectives This study demonstrates the central nervous system (CNS) abnormalities detected using fetal post‐mortem micro‐focus computed tomography (Micro‐CT), independent of whether the abnormality contributed to the main diagnosis or cause of death.

Proximity‐Induced Transfer of a Mass Tag Enables Direct Profiling of Active Matrix Metalloproteases
A proximity‐induced, mass‐encoded activity‐based protein profiling (ABPP) approach transfers a MALDI‐detectable α‐cyano‐4‐hydroxycinnamic acid (CHCA) tag directly to active proteases. This tag enables the direct, multiplexed, and quantitative detection of enzyme activity in complex proteomes without enrichment or purification.

OBTAINING AND CHARACTERISTIC OF MUROPEPTIDES OF PROBIOTIC CULTURES CELL WALLS
The possibility of muropeptides obtaining of peptidoglycans of Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. Bulgaricus B-3964 cell walls by the combination of the use of autolytic processes and enzyme treatment of biomass with the participation of lysozyme and ...

ABSTRACT Bisphenol A (BPA), a common industrial chemical used in plastics and consumer products, is increasingly detected in aquatic environments, raising serious concerns about its potential ecological impacts. This study evaluated the sublethal and acute toxic effects of BPA on the freshwater planarian Girardia tigrina, a recognized model for ...

The AHL Quorum-Sensing System Negatively Regulates Growth and Autolysis in Lysobacter brunescens
Lysobacter species are emerging as novel sources of antibiotics, but the regulation of their physiological metabolism is still poorly understood. In this work, we extracted AHL (acyl-homoserine lactone) autoinducers, identified the structures of AHLs and

ABSTRACT As top predators, terrestrial carnivores face great risk of pesticide exposure and serve as sentinels of environmental contamination. Additionally, terrestrial carnivores are frequently threatened by intentional or secondary poisoning with highly toxic compounds, such as carbamates and organophosphates.

Correlations Between the Autolytic Changes and Postmortem Interval in Refrigerated Cadavers
Introduction. In forensic pathology the autolytic process has been observed and documented in order to determine the postmortem interval as accurately as possible. The observation and experiments have been carried out on cadavers exposed to environmental

Abstract Fetal autopsy remains essential for determining the cause of intrauterine death and for supporting clinical, genetic, and forensic evaluations. However, in cases of advanced maceration, autolysis severely compromises tissue integrity, often preventing adequate identification of anatomical structures and limiting the diagnostic and medico‐legal

Characteristics of autolysis of antarctic krill. [PDF]
The rate of autolysis after thawing in intact frozen krill (whole body, cephalothorax, and abdomen) and in its homogenates was studied by determining both the increase of TCA-soluble nitrogen and the change of protein pattern in SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.Autolysis in the intact state proceeded rapidly in the separated cephalothorax, but ...
