Falling-Drop Timing Circuit with Automatic Reset
Analytical Chemistry, 1958The circuit was designed as a component of a fallingdrop densimeter. Where Stokes law is valid, the time of fall of a spherical drop between two fixed points is inversely proportional to its density. The drop is caused to fall through two light beams.

Research on Automatic Reset Mechanism of Magnetic Switch Based on Saturable Pulse Transformer
IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science, 2013The automatic reset of magnetic switch based on saturable pulse transformer (SPT) is proposed in this paper. The system is based on two-stage SPT and helix Blumlein pulse forming line (HBPFL) is presented in this paper, and the automatic reset mechanism is analyzed theoretically.

We analyze the operation of a reset-free polarization controller comprising three endlessly rotatable wave plates: a first quarter-wave plate followed by a half-wave plate and a second quarter-wave plate, which is rotated synchronously with the first quarter-wave plate.

Controlling Dimension in Centerless-Grinding with Automatic Reset Device
Technometrics, 1969The paper presents a stochastic model for estimation of the dimensional-errors on the surfaces machined on centerless-grinders equipped with automatic post-process gaging and reset type of feed-back control. Examples have been included to illustrate the use of the model in obtaining distributions of the controlled output (diameter of the machined ...

A 180 nm technology new 2.5 Gbps burst-mode optical receiver design with automatic gain control and feed-forward created reset for Ethernet Passive Optical Network (EPON) Systems is presented. To achieve fast response, a reset signal is internally created in the circuit in a feed-forward configuration.

In this paper, we report the recent development of a high-count rate front-end readout ASIC for cadmium zinc telluride (CZT) and/or Si-PIN detectors. The readout circuits are implemented in TSMC 0.35 μm mixed-signal CMOS process. The counting rate is up to 1 Mcps, and the equivalent noise charge is 57 e- +20 e- /pF under the power dissipation of 1.5 mW/
