Immunoglobulin Depletion and Recovery Following Blinatumomab in Infants With KMT2A‐Rearranged ALL
ABSTRACT Adding blinatumomab to standard chemotherapy for infants with KMT2A‐rearranged acute B‐cell lymphoblastic leukemia (KMT2A‐r B‐ALL) improves outcomes. Although blinatumomab impairs immunoglobulin G (lgG) production, increasing infection susceptibility, IgG recovery remains poorly understood.

Estimating Average Treatment Effects With Support Vector Machines
ABSTRACT Support vector machine (SVM) is one of the most popular classification algorithms in the machine learning literature. We demonstrate that SVM can be used to balance covariates and estimate average causal effects under the unconfoundedness assumption.

ABSTRACT Neuroblastoma's complex, heterogeneous biology poses significant diagnostic and therapeutic challenges, often requiring caregivers to absorb complex information and participate in time‐sensitive decisions. However, caregivers often feel unprepared to evaluate options.

A Class of Unbiased Estimators of the Average Treatment Effect in Randomized Experiments
We derive a class of design-based estimators for the average treatment effect that are unbiased whenever the treatment assignment process is known. We generalize these estimators to include unbiased covariate adjustment using any model for outcomes that ...

ABSTRACT Background Neurotoxicity is a rare, often dose‐limiting adverse effect of methotrexate (MTX) therapy that disproportionally affects Latino children. Factors contributing to the observed disparity are not well understood. This study leveraged admixture mapping to identify genetic regions associated with MTX‐related neurotoxicity susceptibility ...

Impact of Metastatic Patterns on Survival and Response to Therapy in Neuroblastoma
ABSTRACT Background While the presence of metastases in neuroblastoma (NB) is a well‐established prognostic factor, the clinical significance of dissemination patterns and tumour burden and their impact on response and survival remains poorly understood.

ABSTRACT Background General pediatricians often evaluate hematologic and oncologic presentations before subspecialty consultation, yet the 2025 Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) pediatric requirements reduce inpatient pediatric hematology/oncology (PHO) time, raising questions about resident readiness.

Generalized coarsened confounding for causal effects: a large-sample framework
There has been widespread use of causal inference methods for the rigorous analysis of observational studies and to identify policy evaluations. In this article, we consider a class of generalized coarsened procedures for confounding.

Estimation of the Local Conditional Tail Average Treatment Effect
The conditional tail average treatment effect (CTATE) is defined as a difference between the conditional tail expectations (CTE’s) of potential outcomes, which can capture heterogeneity and deliver aggregated local information on treatment effects over different quantile levels and is closely related to the notion of second-order stochastic dominance ...
