[Azadirachtin, a natural pesticide with multiple effects].
There are many studies devoted to the negative impact of conventional pesticides that effectively control pests, but cause widespread environmental pollution. As a result, interest is growing in pesticides of a natural origin with a lower environmental impact. Among them, azadirachtin, sold under various formulations (neem oil, Neem-Azal, Bioneem, etc.)

Abstract BACKGROUND The control of fungal diseases in organic fruit production remains a major challenge due to the limited availability of authorized phytosanitary tools. This study evaluates the efficacy of two antagonistic yeasts – Metschnikowia pulcherrima L672 and Hanseniaspora uvarum L793 – in organic peach ( Prunus persica ) and plum ( Prunus ...

Lippia umbellata Cav.: Chemical Composition, Insecticidal, and Antimicrobial Activities
Hexane extracts of Lippia umbellata leaves and flowers contain lupenone, α‐amyrin, and hentriacontane. They exhibit insecticidal activity against Drosophila melanogaster and inhibit AChE in vitro and in silico. Furthermore, the extracts can inhibit the growth of medically important bacteria and yeasts, including multidrug‐resistant strains.

Abstract The mounting health, environmental, and resistance challenges posed by synthetic insecticides have renewed interest in botanically derived “green pesticides.” Schoenocaulon officinale (sabadilla), a geophytic perennial native to Mesoamerica with >2000 years of documented insecticidal use, remains undomesticated.
