Ultrasound Cavitation Enables Rapid, Initiator‐Free Fabrication of Tough Anti‐Freezing Hydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work establishes a foundation for high‐performance sonogel fabrication using non‐focused and focused ultrasound, and demonstrates that ultrasound cavitation enables rapid, initiator‐free, and oxygen‐tolerant formation of hydrogels with superior mechanical and physical properties. .

Intergration of control chart and pattern recognizer for bivariate quality control [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Monitoring and diagnosis of mean shifts in manufacturing processes become more challenging when involving two or more correlated variables. Unfortunately, most of the existing multivariate statistical process control schemes are only effective in rapid ...

Structure - property relationships of new polystyrene nanocomposites prepared from initiator-containing layered double hydroxides of zinc aluminum and magnesium aluminum [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Polystyrene/layered double hydroxides (PS/LDHs) nanocomposites were prepared by free radical polymerization of styrene monomer in the presence of LDHs intercalated with 4,4′-azobis(4-cyanopentanoate) anions (LDH–ACPA).

Catalyst‐Free Direct Hydrocarbonation of Terminal Alkynes Toward E‐Alkene Substituted Stabilized Sulfoxonium Ylides

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The authors introduce a high‐throughput synthesis using amide‐sulfoxonium ylides as new nucleophilic reagents, enabling a catalyst‐ and base‐free hydrocarbonation of terminal alkynes under mild conditions, resulting in various E‐alkene substituted (hetero)amide‐sulfoxonium ylides with excellent regio‐ and stereoselectivity. The late‐stage modifications

SYNTHESIS OF AZO COMPOUNDS DERIVATIVE FROM EUGENOL AND ITS APPLICATION AS A TITRATION INDICATOR

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Chemistry, 2010
The synthesis of azo compounds from eugenol has been carried out by diazotation reaction. The diazonium salt was produced by reaction of aniline and sodium nitrite in acid condition at 0-5 °C temperature to yield benzenediazonium chloride salt.

Enhancement of Optical Transparency and Electrical Conductivity of IZO/Ag/IZO Multilayer Film by Intense Pulsed Light and its Effect on the Photovoltaic Performances of Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The highly conductive IZO/Ag/IZO multilayer transparent electrode is successfully fabricated through flashlight annealing (FLA) process. A transient thermal effect of FLA maintains the continuous Ag interlayer and improves the crystallinity of the sandwich IZO layers. This combination increases both electric conductivity and optical transmittance.

Optical control of azo-polymer film loaded surface plasmon- polariton wave [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2009
An active control method of azo-polymer loaded surface plasmon-polaritons (SPPs) wave with tightly focused 532nm laser is proposed and demonstrated in this paper. Theoretical analysis and experimental results are consistent, which confirm the validity of this method.

Enhancing Silicon Compound Heterojunction Solar Cells with Vanadium‐Doped MoOX as Hole Transport Layers

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work reveals that the migration and accumulation of oxygen vacancies lead to surface charge inversion in MoOX, which degrades device performance. Vanadium doping effectively increases the vacancy migration barrier, enhances material stability, elevates the work function, and broadens the bandgap.
