B-cell Development and Primary Antibody Deficiencies [PDF]
B lymphocytes are generated throughout life from hematopoietic stem cells in bone marrow, and contribute to the immune system by the production of antigen-specific antibodies (immunoglobulins; Ig).

CAF‐mediated immunosuppression in ovarian cancer is driven by IDO1, reducing T‐cell function. Inhibiting IDO1 restores T‐cell proliferation and cytotoxicity, increases cancer cell apoptosis, and may help overcome CAF‐induced immune suppression in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer. Targeting IDO1 may improve antitumor immunity.

Introduction: In X-linked agammaglobulinemia (XLA), the diversity of BTK variants complicates the study of genotype-phenotype correlations. Since BTK negatively regulates toll-like receptors (TLRs), we investigated if distinct BTK mutation types ...

Estrogen is very important to the differentiation of B lymphocytes; B lymphopoiesis induced by OVX was supposedly involved in osteoporosis. But the effects of B lymphocytes on the osteogenic differentiation of bone mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) are not ...

Durable B‐Cell Impairment While Sparing IgA B Cells After Ocrelizumab Therapy in Multiple Sclerosis
ABSTRACT Objectives Ocrelizumab (OCR), a humanized anti‐CD20 monoclonal antibody, is highly efficient in relapsing–remitting multiple sclerosis (RR‐MS). We assessed early cellular B‐cell profiles in patients prior to OCR treatment, on OCR treatment, and after 15 months of therapy discontinuation.

Central Dysmyelination in SSADH‐Deficient Humans and Mice
ABSTRACT Objectives Succinic semialdehyde dehydrogenase deficiency (SSADHD) is an inherited metabolic disorder characterized by an accumulation of γ‐aminobutyric (GABA). In addition to its synaptic role as an inhibitory neurotransmitter, GABA also plays an important role in myelination.
