Baculoviruses: General Features (Baculoviridae)
2021Baculoviruses are insect-specific viruses with double-stranded DNA genomes. This article covers the nomenclature, morphology and genome organization of these viruses. The evolutionary origin is reviewed, along with the infection cycle, transmission pathways and host behavioral manipulation.

Activity persistence of granulosis viruses [Baculoviridae] in soils in United Kingdom and Denmark
Entomophaga, 1988The persistence of granulosis virus infectivity in soil has been investigated. Virus applied to soil was extracted at different times up to 1 year after the original application and the amount of virus was determined using bioassays. In this way the content of infective capsules remained was determined. It was shown that about 99% of the original virus
