Stacked bar plot. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
Stranded GeneCounts from mapping were log10 transformed and plotted as a stacked bar plot, indicating proportions of gene annotations for the mapped reads.

Homozygous transgenic plants regenerated from rice pollen derived callus via Agrobacterium tumefaciens

open access: yes浙江大学学报. 农业与生命科学版, 2001
Maize transposable element Ds was inserted into pollen derived calli of Zhonghua 11 (Oryza sativa L. subsp. japonica) mediated by Agrobacterium tumefaciens.

The pleiotropic effects of thebargene and glufosinate on theArabidopsistranscriptome [PDF]

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, 2009
SummaryThe Arabidopsis transcriptome was studied using the Affymetrix Arabidopsis ATH1 GeneChip in wild‐type plants and glufosinate‐tolerant transgenic plants expressing the bialaphos resistance (bar) gene. Pleiotropic effects were specifically generated in the transcriptomes of transgenic plants by both the bar gene and glufosinate treatments.

Natural Killer Cells in Paediatric Soft Tissue Sarcomas: A Systematic Review

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Paediatric soft tissue sarcomas (pSTS) are a rare and heterogeneous group of malignant tumours arising in tissues of mesenchymal origin. The role of natural killer (NK) cells in pSTS remains poorly understood, with evidence fragmented across small preclinical studies and early‐phase clinical trials.

Pollen-mediated flow of bar gene in transgenic herbicide-resistant turf grass Zoysia japonica [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
Weed control can be most effectively achieved through the use of herbicide-resistance transgene. A preliminary study bar-transgenic Zoysia japonica posed no serious risk on the unintended escape of the transgene from its cultivation site.

Development of transgenic cotton lines expressing Allium sativum agglutinin (ASAL) for enhanced resistance against major sap-sucking pests. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2013
Mannose-specific Allium sativum leaf agglutinin encoding gene (ASAL) and herbicide tolerance gene (BAR) were introduced into an elite cotton inbred line (NC-601) employing Agrobacterium-mediated genetic transformation.

Bin2, a Functionally Nonredundant Member of the BAR Adaptor Gene Family

open access: yesGenomics, 2000
BAR family proteins are a unique class of adaptor proteins characterized by a common N-terminal fold of undetermined function termed the BAR domain. This set of adaptors, which includes the mammalian proteins amphiphysin and Bin1 and the yeast proteins Rvs167p and Rvs161p, has been implicated in diverse cellular processes, including synaptic vesicle ...

Nephrogenic Rests/Nephroblastomatosis in Patients With Unilateral Wilms Tumor Are Not Associated With an Increased Risk of Relapse: An Analysis of Patients Treated on the SIOP‐WT‐2001 Protocol in the SIOP‐UK‐CCLG and SIOP‐GPOH Studies (2001–2022)

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Nephrogenic rests (NRs) and nephroblastomatosis (NBM) are precursor lesions for development of Wilms tumor (WT). Their association with the risk of relapse has not been properly assessed, partly due to misunderstanding of their diagnostic criteria and terminology.

Auxin independent1 (Axi1) as an endogenous gene for copy number determination in transgenic tobacco

open access: yesCrop Breeding and Applied Biotechnology, 2020
Determining the copy number is important because it can greatly influence the expression level and genetic stability of transgenes. This study aimed to establish a methodology that can estimate the transgene copy number in tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum ...
