OP0051 LOOKING BEYOND BASDAI TOTAL SCORES: ANALYSIS OF THE BASDAI ON THE BASIS OF SEX [PDF]
Background: Females with axial spondyloarthropathy (axSpA) average scores on patient reported outcomes (PROs) than males. However, this does not necessarily correlate to worse clinical findings. The Ankylosing Spondylitis Registry of Ireland (ARSI) is a national registry on patients with axSpA in Ireland and a source of epidemiological data ...

POS0997 PERFORMANCE OF ASDAS VERSUS BASDAI DURING PREGNANCY [PDF]
Background: Disease activity in patients with axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) can be measured by BASDAI and ASDAS. Both instruments were validated in non-pregnant patients with cutoff values for active diseases. In pregnant women with axSpA, however, BASDAI and ASDAS scores might be biased by signs and symptoms of pregnancy itself.

How to calculate the ASDAS based on C-reactive protein without individual questions from the BASDAI: the BASDAI-based ASDAS formula [PDF]
Abstract Objectives To develop a new equation to calculate the Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Score based on CRP (ASDAS-CRP) using only the BASDAI total score and CRP. Methods Axial SpA (axSpA) patients from the Cordoba ...

O11 Examining BASDAI by gender: differing scores, but similar patterns of disease [PDF]
Abstract Background/Aims Research has shown that females with axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) score worse on patient reported outcomes (PROs) than males. However, this does not always correlate to worse clinical findings.

P185 Does BASDAI score correlate to MRI changes in ankylosing spondylarthritis? [PDF]
Abstract Background/Aims The Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Index (BASDAI) is routinely used subjective outcome measurement of disease activity in Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS). BASDAI > 4 is used as a criterion for commencing anti-TNF therapy. Previous studies shown BASDAI correlation with MRI has been
