The continuing significance of chiral agrochemicals
In the time frame 2018–2023, around 43% of the 35 chiral agrochemicals introduced to the market (herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, acaricides, and nematicides) contain one or more stereogenic centers in the molecule, and almost 69% of them have been marketed as racemic mixtures of enantiomers or stereoisomers.

Retrospective image analysis for long‐term demography using Google Earth imagery
We demonstrate that high‐resolution Google Earth imagery, combined with minimal field validation, enables retrospective tracking of individual invasive plants. The image shows one of the monitored individuals of Opuntia sp. in Greece. Our approach reveals long‐term demographic patterns, recruitment dynamics, and spatial expansion without continuous ...

Social Sustainability in Circular Bioeconomy Business Models: Insights From Argentina
ABSTRACT Research on circular bioeconomy business models (CBEBM) has largely prioritised environmental and economic aspects, leaving out the social pillar. To address this gap, this paper analyses to what extent and in what ways social sustainability is integrated into CBEBM, based on 12 cases from northern Argentina, a region with high potential for ...

This study reveals how long‐term activation of jasmonic and salicylic acid signalling reshapes arthropod communities and plant fitness across seasons. By showing that induced defences generate contrasting outcomes and cascading trade‐offs across trophic levels, it challenges the assumption that induced resistance is uniformly beneficial in natural ...

This paper argues that variation among individuals—not just species differences—can shape the sensitivity, robustness and resilience of plant–pollinator communities under global change. By linking individual traits and interaction structure to network dynamics, it provides a new framework and future research directions for predicting community ...

We show that ant‐mediated seed dispersal components respond differently to local soil conditions and landscape structure in Caatinga agricultural mosaics. Low‐intensity rainfed croplands maintained or enhanced seed removal compared to natural remnants, highlighting how small‐scale agriculture can sustain key ecological processes in human‐modified dry ...
