ABSTRACT Bioassays offer functional readouts of immune responses through specific biomarkers, providing mechanistic insight beyond conventional serology. By capturing cellular activation, tissue‐level changes, and molecular signaling, they hold promise for refining allergy diagnosis, risk stratification, and treatment monitoring, contributing to ...

ABSTRACT Tocilizumab is an interleukin‐6 (IL‐6) receptor antagonist indicated for various rheumatologic conditions. While hepatotoxicity is a recognized adverse effect, it predominantly manifests as hepatocellular injury. We report a rare case of drug‐induced liver injury (DILI) presenting with a cholestatic pattern and cholangitis features in a 75 ...

In a case–control study of 69 participants (20 stroke survivors, 49 controls; aged 31–78 years) at Tamale Teaching Hospital, Ghana (March–September 2025), venous blood was analyzed for full blood count, liver and renal function. After adjusting for BMI and occupation, stroke survivors showed higher indirect bilirubin (0.143 mmol/L) and MCHC (0.398 g/dL)

Elderly human donor microbiota disrupts intestinal barrier integrity and reshapes host metabolic and mucosal transcriptional profiles in human microbiota‐associated pigs. Integrated multi‐omics analyses identify coordinated microbial, metabolic, and host alterations associated with age‐related intestinal decline.

Personalized CSU care guided by CH50. ABSTRACT Background Chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) is frequently refractory to guideline‐based therapy, highlighting the need for predictive biomarkers. Dysregulation of the complement system has been implicated in CSU severity, but global complement activity has not been systematically evaluated.
