This review highlights recent progress in nanocarriers targeting pattern recognition receptors (PRRs), including Toll‐like and NOD‐like receptors, for enhancing the treatment of bacterial sepsis and related complications. These nanomedicines deliver antibiotics and anti‐inflammatory agents while modulating immune responses.

Bcl-2 family members and disease
Apoptosis plays an important role during development and in the maintenance of multicellular organisms. Bcl-2 family members affect cell death in either a positive or negative fashion. Although some redundancy exists between family members, expression of certain family members is important during development in an organ-specific manner.

Liquiritin enhances the osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs and promotes fracture healing through the activation of the ERK/JNK signaling pathway and by exerting antioxidant protective effects. Abstract Liquiritin, a flavonoid from Glycyrrhiza uralensis L., has diverse pharmacological properties, but its impact on fracture healing is unexplored.

ABT-263: a potent and orally bioavailable Bcl-2 family inhibitor.
Overexpression of the prosurvival Bcl-2 family members (Bcl-2, Bcl-xL, and Mcl-1) is commonly associated with tumor maintenance, progression, and chemoresistance.
