Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

GAS THRUST BEARING OF INCREASED BEARING CAPACITY WITH YIELDING BEARING SURFACE

open access: yesВестник Донского государственного технического университета, 2018
Basic operation factors of the deformed gas-lubricated thrust bearing with increased bearing capacity are theoretically analysed. It is shown that steady-state operation characteristics of this bearing differ from those of the rigid bearing.

AAA+ protein unfoldases—the Moirai of the proteome

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
AAA+ unfoldases are essential molecular motors that power protein degradation and disaggregation. This review integrates recent cryo‐electron microscopy (cryo‐EM) structures and single‐molecule biophysical data to reconcile competing models of substrate translocation.

Improved transducer for squeeze-film bearings [PDF]

open access: yes, 1971
Transducer amplifies vibrations produced by piezoelectric drivers, creating greater amplitudes than were possible with direct drive devices. Drivers isolated from bearing surfaces result in bearings with high axial load capacity and stiffness, thus, wear

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

STUDY ON THE AXIAL BEARING CAPACITY OF T AEROSTATIC BEARING

open access: yesJixie qiangdu, 2016
Even a small axial vibration or an axis deflection vibration of the aerostatic bearing of DFC tool can be quite significant for ultra-precision machining. It is of great importance to obtain the accurate axial bearing characteristic( bearing capacity and

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Bearing Capacity of very Expansive Soils at Jatinangor Area, West Java, Indonesia

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
Expansive soil is a kind of soil that has ability to shrinkage and swelling. According to Ronny (2014) Jatinangor area has expansive soil that is so very influential in the planning of infrastructure construction.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...
