Benchtop High-MAS NMR for Paramagnetic Materials

open access: yesMolecules
We report a compact benchtop solid-state NMR platform that achieves 50 kHz magic-angle spinning (MAS) in a 1.4 T permanent magnet with an 18 mm bore, enabling high-speed MAS under extremely space-constrained conditions.

NMR reaction monitoring in flow synthesis

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2017
Recent advances in the use of flow chemistry with in-line and on-line analysis by NMR are presented. The use of macro- and microreactors, coupled with standard and custom made NMR probes involving microcoils, incorporated into high resolution and ...

Some Applications of a Field Programmable Gate Array Based Time-Domain Spectrometer for NMR Relaxation and NMR Cryoporometry

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
NMR Relaxation (NMRR) is an extremely useful quantitative technique for material science, particularly for studying polymers and porous materials. NMR Cryoporometry (NMRC) is a powerful technique for the measurement of pore-size distributions and total ...

Stable Protein‐Based G‐Quadruplex‐Derived Supramolecular Bioinks as Tunable ECM‐Mimetic Constructs Assembled by Combining Non‐Covalent and Covalent Strategies

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Harnessing the synergistic interplay of supramolecular self‐assembly, under macromolecular crowding conditions, and enzymatic‐mediated covalent crosslinking toward a stable protein‐based G‐quadruplex‐derived supramolecular bioink. This bioinspired strategy enables the biofabrication of complex and tunable ECM‐mimetic constructs, providing a platform ...

Design‐Driven Production of Soybean Oil‐Based Structured Fats as Potential Substitutes for Palm‐Based Fats

open access: yesJournal of the American Oil Chemists' Society, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examined whether enzymatic modification of soybean oil (SBO) can be tailored to produce trans‐free fats with physicochemical properties comparable to palm olein, stearin, or palm‐mid fractions (PMFs). US‐grown SBO was modified by lipase‐catalyzed acidolysis using palmitic acid at linearly interpolated substrate molar ratios (C16:0 ...

Robotic arms for hyperpolarization-enhanced NMR

open access: yesJournal of Magnetic Resonance Open
Optimization of nuclear spin hyperpolarization experiments often require varying one system parameter at a time (or several parameters in a nontrivial manner) as well as multiple repetitions of signal measurements.

Evaluation of a pantoprazole and 4‐desmethylpantoprazole‐sulfate metabolic ratio as a novel CYP2C19 phenotyping method

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Aims CYP2C19 is one of the most important pharmacogenes, and its activity is highly variable due to factors such as genetics or drug–drug interactions. Due to the lack of an appropriate endogenous CYP2C19 biomarker, surrogate methods to assess its activity are warranted.
