Dichloro-Bis(1-cinnamyl-benzimidazole)-Cobalt(II)

open access: yesMolbank
Dichloro-bis(1-cinnamyl-benzimidazole)-cobalt(II) was prepared in one step using a cobalt precursor CoCl2 and corresponding substituted benzimidazole. The complex was fully characterized using IR, elemental analysis, and mass- and NMR spectroscopy.

Dibromido[1,1′-dibutyl-2,2′-(pentane-1,1-diyl)di-1H-benzimidazole]copper(II)

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E, 2010
In the title compound, [CuBr2(C27H36N4)], the CuII ion exhibits a distorted tetrahedral coordination geometry provided by two bromide ions and by chelation of two imine N-atom donors from a bis(benzimidazole) ligand.

Uneven distribution of cobamide biosynthesis and dependence in bacteria predicted by comparative genomics. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
The vitamin B12 family of cofactors known as cobamides are essential for a variety of microbial metabolisms. We used comparative genomics of 11,000 bacterial species to analyze the extent and distribution of cobamide production and use across bacteria ...

Identification and Characterization of the Designer Opioid N‐Pyrrolidino Fluetonitazene in Nasal Spray

open access: yesDrug Testing and Analysis, EarlyView.
N‐Pyrrolidino fluetonitazene, a synthetic opioid, was identified and characterized in a nasal spray using GC‐MS, LC‐QTOF‐MS, NMR and FT‐IR. ABSTRACT Detection of drugs in non‐biological samples serves as a fundamental basis for identifying emerging trends in the field of new psychoactive substances and provides valuable information for optimizing ...

Linear and Nonlinear Optical Properties of Mn doped Benzimidazole Thin Films

open access: yes, 2014
In the present work, the Mn doped benzimidazole (BMZ) thin films were prepared by simple chemical bath deposition technique. The material was directly deposited as thin film on glass substrates and the metal concentration in the solution was varied in ...

Synergistic‐Induced Perovskite Phase Distribution and Lattice Stabilization for Efficient and Stable Sky‐Blue PeLEDs

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
We have developed a multifunctional buried‐interface engineering strategy using phenethylammonium thiocyanate to regulate quasi‐2D perovskite crystallization and stabilize the lattice. The synergistic effects of SCN− and PEA+ steric confinement promote phase redistribution toward n = 2, suppressing interfacial defects and enabling the production of ...

Copper Complexes with Arylated Triethylenetetramine Ligands: Reactivity Toward Dioxygen and Peroxides

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, EarlyView.
Here, we describe new Cu(I)/Cu(II) complexes based on arylated tren ligands and investigate their reactivity toward O2 and peroxides. Low‐temperature–stopped flow studies revealed the formation of transient copper–oxygen species, including superoxido, hydroperoxido, and alkylperoxido intermediates.
