Biomimetic Ion Channel Design for Simultaneous Lithium‐Ion Flux Regulation and Interfacial Stabilization in Lithium Metal Batteries

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Inspired by biological cell membranes, BCE‐encapsulated MOFs create bionic Li+ transport channels. These channels homogenize Li+ flux via Li+‐crown ether ion‐dipole interactions and manipulate solvation structures to form inorganic‐rich SEI layers.

Core/shell structured ZnO@SiO2-TTIP composite nanoparticles as an effective catalyst for the synthesis of 2-substituted benzimidazoles and benzothiazoles

open access: yesJournal of Experimental Nanoscience, 2018
ZnO@SiO2-TTIP was synthesised as a novel heterogeneous catalyst and characterised by FT-IR, XRD, TEM, SEM and N2 adsorption-desorption. In this catalytic system, TTIP acts as a dopant agent for ZnO@SiO2 to decreases the recombination of photogenerated ...

The photoswitchable ABAMIs for the future regulation of GWT1 in a spatiotemporal level

open access: yesSmart Molecules, EarlyView.
The GWT1‐targeted azobenzene‐aminopyridine derivatives (ABAMIs), sensitive to the light at wavelengths from 365 to 520 nm, are separately developed as photochromic ligands to regulate bioactivity as well as the GWT1 functions. These molecules are smart tools in photopharmacological studies, giving an innovative method for understanding functional GWT1 ...

Protic Ionic Liquids in Contrast to Aprotic Analogs: Transport Properties and Electrochemical Reactivity

open access: yesThe Chemical Record, EarlyView.
The transport properties and electrochemical reactivity of protic ionic liquids (ILs) are compared with those of aprotic analogs. Protic ILs are characterized by strong cation–anion hydrogen bonding and labile protons, enabling proton conduction and highlighting their potential as fuel cell electrolytes.

Cytogenotoxic Effects of Fluopyram in Allium cepa Root Cells Involving Microtubule Disruption

open access: yesEnvironmental Toxicology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Fluopyram is a next‐generation fungicide widely used in agriculture; however, its persistence in soils and mobility toward aquatic systems have raised concerns regarding potential ecotoxicological risks. This study evaluated the cytogenotoxic effects of a commercial fluopyram‐based pesticide formulation on Allium cepa root meristem cells ...

Benzimidazole Anthelmintic Compounds Albendazole and Fenbendazole Show Distinct Toxicity on the Nitrogen Fixing Bacterium Mesorhizobium loti and Its Symbiosis With Lotus japonicus

open access: yesEnvironmental Toxicology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Veterinary medicines, which reach the soil mostly through the application of contaminated manures, can affect beneficial soil microorganisms, such as nitrogen‐fixing rhizobia bacteria, which engage in important symbiotic associations with plants.

Taxon, Arboreality, Sex, and Season—Factors Influencing Gastrointestinal Parasite Occurrence in Zoo‐Housed Non‐Human Primates

open access: yesZoo Biology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The emergence of anthelminthic resistance is a well‐documented phenomenon in livestock and companion animals. Given the scarcity of new antiparasitic drugs, the implementation of effective, holistic anthelminthic control strategies is critical to preserving the efficacy of existing treatments.

Optimised Molecular Traps and Conjugated Structures for Superior High‐Temperature Capacitive Performance in Polyimide

open access: yesHigh Voltage, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In the fields of automotive electronics, power electronics, and aerospace, environmental conditions are often extremely harsh, particularly for materials that must endure high temperatures, high power and require high stability. The degradation of capacitance performance in polymer dielectrics under high electric fields and elevated ...
