Influence of cyclodextrins on the photostability of selected drug molecules in solution and the solid‐state

open access: yesInternational Journal of Photoenergy, Volume 3, Issue 4, Page 205-211, 2001., 2001
The photostability of selected drug molecules, including furosemide, prochlorperazine, diclofenac, piroxicam, midazolam and nifedipine was studied, the kinetics of photodegradation, identification of the photodegradants investigated and mechanisms of photodegradation proposed.

Electrochemical Intramolecular Aminobromination of Alkenes

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 2, January 16, 2026.
A versatile electrochemical method for the intramolecular aminobromination of alkenes has been developed. The method provides access to five‐, six‐, and seven‐membered heterocycles by exploiting tetrabutylammonium bromide as an electrolyte and bromine source.

A Rapid One-Pot Ugi Reaction Based Route to Novel Imidazole-Fused Benzodiazepinones

open access: yes, 2015
A short and efficient synthetic approach has been developed for the synthesis of a variety of imidazole-fused benzodiazepinones. It is based on a Ugi multicomponent reaction strategy and uses various isocyanides to generate the key intermediates for a ...

Structure–Activity Relationships of Inactive‐Conformation Binding EGFR Inhibitors: Linking the ATP and Allosteric Pockets

open access: yesArchiv der Pharmazie, Volume 358, Issue 7, July 2025.
EGFR inhibitors can be made especially effective through binding small‐molecule inhibitors that target the allosteric pocket. Structural and functional analysis affords new insights into the compositions and their molecular connections that afford effective inhibitors. ABSTRACT The epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase is an important

Structure activity relation for some 1,4-benzodiazepinones: correlation between rate constants for reduction by sodium borohydride and antileptazol ED 50

open access: yes, 1978
Significant correlation in 11 different 1,4-benzodiazepinones has been established between log k2 (the second order rate constant for the reduction of the ‘azepinones’ by sodium borohydride) and their ED50 against leptazol-induced seizures in mice.

Synthesis, Characterization and DFT Studies on Some 2,3-Dihydro-4-Methyl-1H-1,5-Benzodiazepinone and N-Isopropenyl Benzimidazolone Derivatives [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Benzodiazepinones and benzimidazolones have been synthesized by the reaction of o-phenylenediamine with ethylacetoacetate in boiling xylene. Alkylation of the obtained compounds was carried out by reaction with excess of ethyl iodide.

Benzodiazepinone Derivatives as CRTH2 Antagonists

open access: yes, 2016
Multiple CRTH2 antagonists are currently evaluated in human clinical trials for asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). During our lead optimization for CRTH2 antagonists, an observation of an intramolecular hydrogen bond in ortho ...

Design and Synthesis of Ligands Targeting the Hepatitis C Virus Internal Ribosome Entry Site [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Benzodiazepinones and cyclopropylquinazolinamines were designed and synthesized with the goal of creating ligands for the subdomain IIa of the hepatitis C virus (HCV) internal ribosome entry site (IRES) RNA and thereby inhibiting viral translation.

Evaluation of two pairs of chiral stationary phases: Effects from the length of the achiral spacers

open access: yes, 2004
Two pairs of chiral stationary phases (CSPs) with different C-2-symmetric central parts were prepared and evaluated by chromatography of a series of structurally different racemates.
